Bad time of year

Bad time of year

I'm going to Canerra for a few days soon - and that's a good thing

I have the anniversary of my son's death on the 16th - now I really feel it - I have been better this year - maybe because of being here - I have felt useful and people have been helpful - really great

I left the website I used to be in - it was a huge part of my life - and even making the decision to leave was hard - I know I did the right thing - but it was a horrible experience

It was my birthday yesterday - I had a good time with my dd and gd but I am not sure about the food - I have felt a bit off colour - I didn't eat that much -

I know better than to eat much right now though - some toast will be fine today

Generally I feel really low - and tired - and I think I am grieving more than one thing or two -

I don't know whether to post this - I think that it's a good idea - I don't mind reading what other people write - I actually feel better myself to know I am not alone - and I know this will pass

But yes - the weather is atrocious here - I want to go out - but unless I feel better tummy-wise - no - I will stay here - where if my tummy feels worse I have the appropriate conveniences handy

We all feel weird and tired and unhappy and unfulfilled at times

Re: Bad time of year

Thanks hope77 I wish that was all of it but unfortunately there's something that's much worse than all of that which takes so much out of me every day that it's something that I can't live with

@Evilchild Nothing can shock me. You seem a very worthy person. Please share if you can or want too. I'm sure you are a good person who is not perfect like the rest of this world including me. No pressure hey if you want to talk I'm here off and on. and I'm sure your Doctors will be able to help Your not alone.

Re: Bad time of year

You're wrong about Drs. I haven't seen my clinical manager who is supposed to help me. If she makes no contact with me by Tuesday then I want nothing more to do with her. That will make it a month that I haven't seen her. If she can't be bothered contacting me then there's not much point continuing. And unlike you said I'm not alone. That's not true. I am and I know it. I had to fill in a form today at my Drs and it said next of kin. I crossed it out she said isn't your brother your next of kin I said no I do t have contact with anyone

Re: Bad time of year

Can you ask for another Clinical manager, I have just changed doctors because I didn't feel he was helpful. Sometimes it can take some time before we can trust someone. And I meant we are here for you.You have to gradually trust your doctors. I've only been 4 times to my new one. don't quite trust him yet. but so far he's ok.

I've had too many of them and I'm getting a bit over it. I trust people and I keep being let down. You eventually come to the end of the road. Everyone feels sorry for me over everything that's happened even the Catt team and the doctors in the hospital and the police. I keep being told that I've been put through more than one person should be but it doesn't help. What's happened it will always be with me until the end and sometimes I just can live with it

Re: Bad time of year

Hi again @Evilchild

I don't know your story yet - and it could be that your experiences are worse than I can imagine

But I do know what it is like not to have anyone around to call on when things were dark - my own family showed me what to do with a difficult child by bailing on me - but I did not abandon my son - and I feel I took the better road with that issue - as hard as it was

But toward the end of his life I had nothing but criticism from everyone and felt terribly lost - so I know what it is like to feel as if there is no next-of-kin

So - I can't comment and I never deal in platitudes - and maybe I have been lucky -

There is a commonality in our stories though - but for some reason I have always been drawn to the light and self-education - and when I have needed a professional person to help - I have had the right one time and time again

So I can see that you have not had that advantage and that is very hard

As far as an on-line community can go - this is a very supportive and well-moderated site - and people here are helpful and understanding

Keep writing - and if you feel like sharing your story then please do so

Re: Bad time of year

It's not easy to change you just go from one bad one to the next. I don't know why my manager hasn't been near me but she obviously hasn't being doing her job over the last month. As I've mentioned before I thought she was going to be good. Everyone says she is but maybe it's me. Im so tired at the moment. All I want to do is sleep except I can't. I have things to do but just no energy. I was recently put on medication but I haven't taken it because the last time I put on sooo much weight and I haven't lost it so I don't want to put in more. I'm a little blimp at the moment I don't want to grow to be a Zeppelin. I know the tablets may help but as you can see there are reasons which hold me back from taking them
