Something’s not right

why can't I cope longer?

why can't I cope longer?

Something's not right alright... Not sure why I'm falling to pieces atm and short of listening ears. Hope someone here can put up with me.

I'm walking in circles at home... well, not literally, just can't seem to stay focused or finish anything... if I can even remember what it is I got out of the chair to do half the time...

And snappy with people, everywhere, rude even (which is so out of character for me), the slightest hint of being 'had' or criticised or misunderstood... oh boy, I just can't keep it in atm. The internal pressure cooker wants to explode & I don't know how to stop it.

I'm at the crossroads in life, moving and deciding if to bother starting again, or just quit on life / die.

And what's scary about that lately, is the thought of it doesn't make me scared anymore - like its just what I'm supposed to do. Do you think God would factor in a premature departure (suicide / depression?) like he accepts other illnesses that separate spirit & body?

Its just those kinds of dark thoughts, but not like crisis level or that, just trying to find my way, or other alternatives, something to look fwd to.... to keep me here. I can't see a future worth living & don't feel the internal resources keep fighting.

Don't tell me to run off & get antidepressants... I'm on them. Or psychotherapy - that's in progress... I think maybe I just want to be heard. Not changedchanged (disapproved of)... just cared about... Is that too much to ask from life? Oh I know God loves me and all that, but I still live on earth...

Do you know what I'm trying to say?Does anyone ever feel this way? I just feel so totally spent - the end of the line... ... ...

My two church supports are away at the moment, not that I lean on them heavy, I'm just conscious there gone...

Ha! Horrible feeling like the only close people in ya life need to take a holiday away from you, well, maybe some of the others I notice they have to deal with more, none the less - feeling abandoned 😞

Thanks @Adge :face_with_rolling_eyes: they won't sort my tech issues posting images so needed to see if EOR was targeted - got my answer.

Re: why can't I cope longer?

Hi @Adge @Zoe7 @Maggie @Eve7 and anyone else brave enough to drop by here... lol

Heard from my case manager back in NSW (they cants finish m MHCP progress re move back to Qld). She said they think I need continued support and offered to pass on my records to my new team here.

I kinda left abruptly, kept it under my hat with them 'cause (a) was worried they'd somehow try to stop me, and (b) I could pretend I'm on holiday away 'till support ran out... but thought it best to be honest once myGov was updated. So, here I am in limbo again, wondering how I'd go about getting another MHCP, if I have to, or can have that one transferred... I donno, and finding a new therapist... Part of me just want to have a NEW START without the Mental Health baggage & stigma. After he way two of my siblings exaggerated and used my struggle with cPTSD (depression & anxiety) against me... when I went to be with mum when she was dying, and stayed as dad's carer for 8months after... was just horrible. Two hospitalizations in 30yrs apparently equates to 'delusional' [fools!] And how people believed their lies without approaching me for clarity... I'm just so weary because I expect to spend the rest of my life here (can't run away anymore, too hard on the body & pocket). I donno, maybe I am 'crazy'

On a good not, my son's coming up to stay this W'end again. Seems my being here is good thing for him too. And hey, my blood pressure has even come down this month, been high all year. Anyway, just st needed to talk with someone.

How you going @Adge ? And you @Appleblossom ? @Sans911

Hi @Former-Member I would dearly love to offer you some answers but I can't due to guidelines and my real life occupation. All I can say is there are lots of wonderful supportive people in Qld and I wish you all the best as you search for those who will believe in you.

Re: why can't I cope longer?

Hi @Former-Member I'm so glad to hear from you.

Sorry how much you're having to deal with, sounds like an awful lot.

Yes MHCP is transferrable (as far as I know) - or at least any unused sessions are.

I've never had to transfer a MHCP.

I'm not doing well - let's hope & pray that my overwhelm is a Glitch (This will pass...).

My forced NBN connection last Tuesday - they were going to disconnect landline phone & ADSL internet (regardless).

Left me with No Landline phone connection - now working but very glitchy/ cuts out.

Phone will only work when plugged into modem with power - will not work if plugged straight into phoneline (anymore).

No power during blackout = No phone.

It's all too complicated, I just cannot deal with it - No technician was supplied to install or connect things.

So I did it somehow all by myself.

My Yoga classes (Yoga training place) is closing, shutting shop permanently (after 21 years) - Shock, need to find new place to go for Yoga classes.

It won't be the same, it's all too much.

Sorry, I will try to be more positive & supportive soon.

Feels like the bottom has dropped out of my world.

Just trying to get by (cope) hour to hour....

@Former-Member Your BP is looking good, that’s a good start. Qld might be the place for you. Plus, you son coming again for the weekend, a few good positivities there.

You need a break, so I really hope this is it. It’s been a rough trot.

Do you like your new accommodation ?

i hope you get MH support when you feel ready. It takes time to adjust to a new place, climate etc. I hope this works out really well for you.

Take care. 💕💕💕

Aww 😟 @Adge, I'm so sorry all this is going on for you. Of cause it would feel like the bottom has dropped out of your world, on top of no work... 🙃 please 'hang-in-there' one day / one hour at a time is a good strategy. I'm wondering, could your yoga instructor recommend another group? Or can you find out what the other members are going to do? I have a friend who stopped attends her yoga online through ZOOM, is that an option for you? Hey, well done after NBN tradies left things non functional. What a disaster the nbn has turned out to be 😕 Very substandard. I've know several people who have phone connection issues for months after nbn. Do you have a good mobile? No doubt "this too shall pass" Be kind to yourself Adge 🐦💙

Hi @Maggie, how are you? Es, I like my little unit and lockable garage (first ever). Furbaby likes it too, she particularly likes checking the mail with me, where her and sausage dog next door try eat each other through the wire fence and kick up the grass :face_with_rolling_eyes: - all bluff lol [crazy canines] Went for walk yesterday, some death hills around here I'll have to be mindful of next time 😤🙁😬 but felt good after ❇️🌷❇️

Re: why can't I cope longer?

Good on you for going for a walk @Former-Member Except those death hills (not so good).

I did not manage a walk - I've been trying to force myself to go to a park for a walk (for many weeks).

Motivation very difficult for me to find, when currently so overwhelmed.

A Lockable Garage - Excellent (now I'm envious).

My open Carport (with no Gate) is open to intruders (unfortunately) - they broke into my Car once (in carport), broke the car door locks.

Yes I've just managed to get a list of Yoga teachers (classes) elsewhere from my Yoga teacher - a very short list (5), all daytime classes.

Fine for now, no good if I get a new job - I would not be able to attend any of them.

It's the "Being forced to try new places/ people/ activities" that is so trauma triggering & unsettling.

I need "Face-to-face" (in person) classes for to motivate me, & for a small amount of social interaction - so sadly Zoom will not serve the purpose.

Online (Zoom/ Skype) only works for me when I know the person well, & am comfortable with them (not a 1st time meeting) - eg when I had one Zoom Consult with my Psychologist.

That felt/ worked okay, because I have been seeing her for ages.

Re: NBN - I have had to run a phone cable/ line for about 10 metres.

Down main corridor, from one bedroom to another - just to have phone (mainly) & internet working.

This was not necessary before.

The main (one of two) phone socket/ outlet cannot be used now (anymore) - because only the phone line with Modem/ Router plugged into it, will make the phone work.

Normal phone Socket (without Modem) is dead, no signal.

I never saw any Technician at all (no-one) - They did this NBN business "Remotely" electronically.

No, my Mobile is on the way out - sort of dying or becoming obsolete (Battery not holding Charge).

Will need replacing, when I can deal with the stress of doing that - very hard for me to set up a new Mobile phone (takes forever).

Yep, "Silver Lining here I come" (where is it?).

There has to be a Silver lining amidst all this manure - that's a long story/ funny Joke.
