Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

just read the last post @utopia @Zoe7

t-shirt business

there must be a virtual reality or whatever the tech expression is around this obstacle...

you need an expert IT guru on the job...

my "family member: is right into IT....

why not enjoy the playing around at a light level until a light bulb goes off....not giving away any possible patented ideas is what I am trying to say..

I taught my sons "Never say Never"...they used to laugh at me...try to come up with different examples...ridiculous statements where they could prove that I was wrong.....

I always left the conversation at yes but that is only an opinion etc....had some laughs over it..

good memories...

whatever you decide you have the memories of the fun you had...there is no reason to not explore....

Re: Living with Ourselves

We definitely had fun @Sophia1 - was some of my fondest memories of the forum playing with t-shirt designs and slogans with @utopia - we honestly need to start it up again - if for no other reason the laughter that thread provided for us was wonderful.

Hello @eudemonism

Dreaming of snakes eating you ....

Do you think that has something to do with Monti Python moving in and having an extra interest in Mister and Purrpurr?

Having a CTO would have to be an extremely frightening experience beyond anything that I have experienced...I have witnessed the traumatic effect on my own "family member"...leading that person to disappear from all who knew him...

These recurring thoughts of such a horrendous trajedy in your life are best discussed with your new psychiatrist...

I think that I have read that the side effects of the depot injection also can distort memories of injustice....bring about total confusion of reality and dream....This is very hard for you...None of us underestimate your struggles Eude..

Sometimes we do not know what to say in response...so some say nothing...

Here for you....

I am sensing the humour coming out.....Am I on the right path?

.lol I'm curious as to what others may think. So perhaps some rationale and second and third opinions can be considered. About the questions... Take it as a science fiction scenario at the moment. I don't want to incriminate anyone just yet. Lol.

Is anyone else into science fiction @Zoe7 @utopia @Appleblossom @TAB @Adge@outlander ?

Re: Living with Ourselves

No not interested in science fiction @Sophia1 - consider my own life to be fiction enough so read more biographies and non-fiction books. I must admit I haven't read a lot since I have been off work - haven't been able to concetrate for long enough and my eyes have certainy not coped - definitely need to get my eyes checked - know I need reading glasses but figure if I don't read why bother with glasses lol

@Sophia1@Zoe7

If we go back there - Zoe - then it looks like my thigh will be bitten again by all sorts of creepy crawlies. Not looking forward to that ..

Although am planning to go back up to my mountain soon - just waiting for a few dry days - so I can drive the track.

Re: Living with Ourselves

I am just so pleased you are planning on going back to your mountain @utopia - for a while there there was no chance of you getting back there - so that shows real progress. Sooo happy for you - I hope it clears up soon and you can drive the track

Re: Living with Ourselves

Yea! That is what I'm talking about @utopia - to begin with... They've (the doctors / the treating team) have not walked a day in my shoes, nor experienced what it's like to be on this medication, nor know anything about my experiences of life...)

Re: Living with Ourselves

Spot on @eudemonism

Something to add to your list in preparation for that first appointment.....

I always find the first appointment meeting a new medical person to be quite overwhelming no matter how well I have prepared myself....or how calm I am...

This is the reason that I write things down...then I am not distracted by the feeling of being overwhelmed...

When I had my first appointment with my neurosurgeon he gave me information....prognosis...treatment....etc...I asked questions...came away with head in the clouds...

when I went for follow up appointment...results of MRI after surgery...I asked a question...he responded almost impatiently that he had explained all of that at the first appointment...

I responded with "you might well have told me then....I was in shock when you told me about what I had and details of ensuing operation..so I don't remember any details from that first appointment"

He actually looked me in the eyes....I saw something shift inside...his answer had a different tone...I recognised compassion even though brief..

What am I rambling on about this time?

No matter who it is....if you need to have an answer....ask a question....

we never stop learning

it is impossible to ever know everything..

keep in touch

Sophia

Re: Living with Ourselves

Yea well @Sophia1 if things are going so well. Who do ya turn to? Who do you trust? What action do you take? Sometimes I feel like the whole world is simply out to screw me over.. . Honestly aye...

My problem is frustration, anger and rage... Not just for no good reason... I'm having all the proper and appropriate and above board thoughts... And immediately! I'm like, trying to act on them and I'm going into this cycle of resentment which is caused by medication side effects. And it's absolutely terrible to go through...
