It's nearly midday & I've only got 1 little fan going & it's pointed at the young fella not me 😉 Woo Hoo! 🙂 I haven't squirted any curtains or floors or sheets hanging outside the front door or carpets on the ground outside the front door or cotten floor mats inside - I haven't squirted! 😄 It's 1130 & I'm just thinking about getting the battery from the bedroom & getting a bit a breeze above my head 🙂 There's lots of big fluffy ball clouds, with grey bottoms & bright white tops; they're sheilding me a bit from the heat & Sun right now 🙂
I have to go into town today & check the P.O. I have an email saying I have a parcel to collect, but I think each time I've checked the box it's been empty - I might have to be brave & actually go in & ask, they are Human Beings that work in this post office after all & the little tag system has been known to go wrong in the past 😉 . . . . . . oh . . . I've just realized, I don't think I'm going to make the Post Office in time, pretty sure it shuts at 1200 on Saturdays?, it'll have to wait 'till Monday 😉

I might go check the thermometer for the 1st time today . . .

It was a touch over 30, seems that's my heat sensory sweet spot is 30 . . . anything over it & I start looking for a breeze 😉
I've got a breeze going over-head now, I've wet the curtains, even the 1's outside the front door {I think they make a lot of difference really;)} & the outdoor carpet & the cotton floor rug just inside the front door too 🙂 I also squirted myself while I was at it & am now much cooler 🙂 😄 🙂 But I don't think I need the big cooler, just a little extra comfort to ease a normal Summer day 😉
Banana & fruit juice {which is kind of breakfast for lunch} are going down quite nicely 🙂 Maybe I'll actually get around to cooking something for dinner tonight, I had canned fruit & 1 of those individual cup of custards last night - I think mainly because I didn't want to use the cooker & heat the house up at all! 😉 . . . or maybe I'll get around to a backyard fire? It's much cooler in the backyard of an evening, having no walls helps to catch whatever breeze is about 🙂 hhhhmmmm....that's starting to feel a bit like a plan 😉

IT'S RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
& it's real rain too, been going for at least 5 minutes, good medium light steady RAIN 🙂

It started while I was out walking with the dogs, just an on-lead walk around the property, I'd actually taken a side track to a dam I knew of . . . but it was dry. Maybe all the dams will get some water in them with this? It has to have been going for about 10 minutes now, though it's peatering off a little . .. it's still going!!! 😄 😄 😄 & as is often the case, it's much cooler for it 🙂
I haven't sorted a fire out & now that it's rained {there's still just the lightest pitter-patter of it going on :)} I probably won't.
I've spent the day doodling mainly, maybe when I colour it in, I'll take a pic of it & put it in; not that it's anything special, just a random doodle, kind of flower-like? Nice to have felt enough creativity to want to doodle it though 😉
The rain has finished, there's a cool touch on my skin 🙂 & it's not from squirting & a fan - Mother Nature is whispering it in 🙂
The cool didn't last long! Like a lollipop it dangled for a moment, sweet & pretty; and then it felt like a blanket settling back down after being flicked up for fluff - UURRGGHH! It's not that bad really, just annoying to have to put the fan back on 😉

It's pitter-pattering again 🙂 Perhaps that's what the blanket was about? - another settling of heat for anlther rain? Anyhow, it's cooling off again, so it's all good 😉

I didn't even take the battery into the bedroom last night, the whole night with no fan! 🙂 I think the heat wave is over 🙂

How are you feeling today sweet Claire? How is that sleep pattern battle going? Are you just clinging to the edge of a ledge, or have you found 1 comfortable enough to at least sit & rest on?

My ledge shook, it threatened to shake me off & that's after about a decade of padding the edges & building the walls of the bubble I surrounded it in. But it made me realize something; even if I did fall, that ledge would be above me, I'm old & it might take a while - but I know if I just kept inching up it would be there, I know I can find a comfortable ledge 🙂

oh dear @Former-Member we are getting quite long names- i like NN, or NB but we know what it means so thats all it matters. you dont need to shorten mine since youve given me a name that has the mods on edge cause they think its real lol.

still whirling around in that tornado, maybe as the day goes on it might start to ease but can never tell, just like the weather my mood is unpredicatable. and sleep is still a batlle. i have sleepers but ive noticed that when i take them the nightmares increase. i can only take them every now and then so need to be desparate to take them then wonder about taking them as it causes nightmares. annoying.

if you fall NN, we would be here to catch you until you could find a ledge to stand or sit on

I might have to get Nanny Boo Boo out, 'cause if she can quieten a crying child with a single hush' - a Tornado will be a piece of cake for her! Nanny Niqua on the other hand, remembers a little of the violent swirl & it frightens her a little, she just wants to wrap you in cotton wool to soften the blows a bit I don't have enough cotton wool here, so I'll just have to wrap you in my love - you'll still have to feel the blows & find your own way . . . but you'll know I'm with you for every stumble, every fall & that I will be lifted up with you when you are able to climb

I had the same problem with many of the tablets I tried, I would remember my dreams; & the benifits of the tablets did not outweigh the damage of the dreams. I understand a little

The pooches are perfect 😄 All registered, micro-chipped & couldn't be any more 'personally claimed' by me if I tried 😉

Camping isn't very high on the agenda right now, although I've got to go through my camp gear & tidy it up; I'd like it ready in case there's another heat wave - going somewhere that I can look at water would 'take my mind' off it for a couple of days at least I think? 😉 Top of the list at the moment is appreciating my Kingdom, my bubble around my ledge - it might be inside a moderate oven at times, but I'm grateful to myself for constructing my own little World (Planet Niqua:)) where my critters & I can be the free-est possible 😄 I've been 'out there', I go 'out there', I like some of what I see 'out there' & I'm going to go 'out-there' again . . . just not got any plans for it right now 😉

you know NN @Former-Member I was told when i first started watching it and introduced it to someone else, they said you look like Claire off outlander. i wish i was anything like her looks and all! i have the same hair colour as her and similar type as in slightly curly but i put blonde through my hair so not quite the same and i just throw my hair up in a messy bun that way if i forget to brush my hair it just looks normal 😉

i love Nanny Boo Boo but i love NN better, i dont need magical powers to be helped (even though it would be nice) you being you is enough for me and i wouldnt change you for anything

hmm tablets are a tricky balance. im increasing one, descreasing one, adding another in and then the sleep tablets but the only time i have those added nightmares are when i take the as needed ones. the other ones i have dont help with sleep more modd stabilsing and the anti-depressants but im going off those (cant handle the wieght gain and is becoming a major issue) so off i go with them.

ill always be here and i know many others too that ill stand by you every stumble, fall, achievment adventure and anything else you want to talk about, even though i dont have alot of experience the other members have i am more than happy to 'sit' with you anytime

im glad your pooches are all good and yours. they sound like they are very spoilt and loved, and in return love you back. 🙂

i havent been camping in a long time, im more of a glamper- i will stay in a cabin forever but needs the basics like a flushing toilet and shower and no spiders! the rest im good with and love bush walks etc. i worry about you going on your own, all the time but i know its something you like to do as well. i love planet Niqua, and the way you describe it. very out of this world, and very much 'you'

Just after 6am, have been awake since the 5's. Dreamed of a cousin turning up on my doorstep, so to speak, wanting to hand over responsibility for their life to me, imagining I was rich and able to take care of them. I've never met this cousin in real life. Only know of him as one of four brothers who have been in and out of jail (in real life) since young. One of them caused the death of someone, I heard. I've met none of these brothers, an indication of the fractured nature of my father's family.

This cousin's sister, who I have met once a few years ago in real life, was also in the dream. She was in some scary way a kind of emotional hostage to her brothers, which she may kind of be in real life too. I spent the dream trying to get back to my much gentler normal life.

I've said to you before that dreams are like free movies to me and that I can stand at a distance from events in them. But that's not really the case with all dreams. I am affected by the one last night, feel troubled by it. An extension perhaps of my troubled day yesterday. Had a lot of trouble getting to sleep last night after the events of the day. I am too sensitive for my own good.

Anyway, a little rave here this morning. Just to say hello and share with you another fragment of my existence. Thank you for being so welcoming to things shared.

Do you find the early mornings as peaceful as the nights? I do actually like sunrises 🙂 it's just I think my body & my brain processes that don't like that hour of day much 😉 But I like the light at sunrise, it kind of seems cleaner to me? Objects appear more solid? It's got to do with the intensity & angle of the light I think, & the shadows {I think the shadows may have a lot to do with why I sometimes feel so disorientated/lost in very familiar areas?}

It's interesting how you dreamed of extended family members, that's what friends feel like to me {hell, that's what my puppies feel like to me!;)} A person could interpret the young male cousin as the negativity from your ex-friend giving you the flick & the fact that your subconscious chose an unknown family member could represent your feelings of having not really known the ex-friend?; & the cousin's sister as the vulnerable new friendship being made?

The reason I so hate my dreams is because they are mainly emotion, the images are often a confusing sort of side-effect. I dream terror, that is the main re-occurrence in my dreams, the visual form that terror takes often makes no sense - but the feeling is overwhelming.

That your dream came out of the Theater & entered your mind, effecting your emotions in a troubling way; says to me that losing this friend really hurt. I'm sorry Mazy Have you heard of the reason, season or lifetime that a person comes into your life? I'm pretty sure you would of 😉 Did this person meet a need, did you share, grow or learn with them? I can probably answer that for you . . . I think you share with everyone blessed enough to brush by your battered bubble You probably met a need for them & they learnt a seasonal lesson from you & now they're simply ready to move on I think it was kind & clever of your subconscious to leave the glimmer of your much gentler normal life dimly glowing in the background 😉

I have to go to the next town over today, I get the weekly dvds & so the habit of going every Sunday. I'm going to have to re-get 1 out 'cause I didn't get around to seeing it XD But that's Ok, at $2 to hire it for a week . . . I'll take that 1 on the chin 😉
It's also become a Sunday thing for me to get some sort of take-aways from the little cafe-come-dvd store that I go to as they advertise gluten free options to all their menus! I got a baked spud last week that was absolutely scrummy, but also really, really big {the puppies enjoyed about half of it, although I had way more than 1/2 my share of the toppings 😉
I might get more decently dressed & get over there. I've just given the place a squirt & put a couple of extra little fans on, the warm time of the afternoon has begun.

I'm sitting in my comfy-camp chair, in my backyard, listening to jungle sounds on my laptop that I've set up on an old cupboard door straddling an old pool chair that the backs come undone on 🙂 It's not hot out here, but it's not cold either - it's pretty well perfect really 😄 😉
Ca-Cauw - I've got 1 of those ca-cauw birds singing in the background; I don't know what they're called or at least I can't remember right now, but I've seen enough documentries that I know it . . . either that or it was an Australian jungle & it's 1 I'm familiar with in real life?
I think the young fella has had a reasonable 'Funday' & been spoilt enough to make up for not having a walk on 'Funday' 😉 I'm so proud to announce that this evening for the 1st time ever I didn't clip the young fella onto the lead that I attach to the cloths line, when I asked him to stay as I hid the most brilliant bicky ball in the Universe {several different sized cat & dog biscuits soaked in cream ;)} . . . [DRUM ROLL . . . ] . . . & he stayed!!!:D:D:D He stepped towards me a little as I returned, but I don't care - I never wanted a robot - just good communication between us 🙂 He got 2 brilliant bicky balls & he stayed twice :D:D:D !!!!!!
He also got a pretty decent sized bone if I might say so myself, I didn't realize until I got home that the packet only had 2 in it, I thought it had 4! I leave the little fella in the bathroom while all this is going on {his Sunday treat mainly is riding in the front [lately with air-conditioning on!] while we go to the dvd shop 😉 But the young fella took so long with his chunk of cow spine that eventually I decided to let the little fella out so he could stare at the young 'un, if that was what was to occur ;D
That's not what occurred, the young fella seemed to just abandon his bone as he 'appeared' at the bathroom door as I was letting the little fella out; the little fella still had a gob full of Smackos chew strap & so, as is his rather weird way, he had to go & sit on my handbag to finish it!!?!! XP I had just grabbed my plastic Chinese container of roast pork & veggies with gravy {that again I didn't think when I got it - will probably have gluten in it - but I decided I eat tomato & bar-b-q sauces, so I ate it anyway}[might have a dose of mild laxative before I go to bed tonight, that way if there is any nasty reaction

I didn't end up getting anything from the take-awasy, the roast pork was from my local corner store - & I didn't end up having any really unpleasant reactions to the gravy . . . just a lot of wind [blushing!!!], & the critters didn't mind at all XD
