Niquas Notes

Niquas Notes

I thought I might try some 'journalling' . Just write a little blurb out each day, basically what I'm already doing . . . just giving it a name . . a title, I suppose? But to give it some 'umph' in my head I'm going to try & remember how to start a new thread & call it 'Niquas Notes' 🙂
It's not even 11.30am & I'm having a tomatoe & onion sandwich for lunch 🙂 I think I've been forgetting to 'get around' to a few meals lately. It's pretty good 🙂
I think I need to go into town today & check the post office, I may have a parcel to collect (evil ebay again!). I might get some meat while I'm in there (probably sausages ;)), I don't think I've had a lot of it lately - though I had Tuna in some fried rice the other night 🙂 Pretty sure I've got a couple of DVDs to collect from the library too 😉 {which means waiting until after 2pm at least as they close from 1-2pm for lunch} Today being Wednesday, it's an off-lead walk day, so I'll take the puppies along & drop into the local Forest on the way back home 🙂 I really enjoy that walk myself, it might be one I've done a million times, but that's sort of part of what I think I really enjoy about it?;)? & of the camp trips, beach walks & places that I have been going to for a little while now - the local 'home' forest walk still gives us the most freedom & me the most confidence 🙂
I think I am recovering from the xmas kerfuffle. I've just polished off a banana, which I would normally have at breakfast, so I've just combined morning & midday meals 😉 & I've got a bottle of water with just a touch of Apple Cider vinegar in it :x I actually quiet like the tang & I do beleive my insides appreciate it 🙂 I've been having quite a few nasty waves of nausea washing over me for a while now.
I need to start 'beating myself up a bit' about the housework! I did get some dishes done before I went away, but there's still a mountain of pots and pans there!! & my mountains of dirty washing are growing death defying peaks!!! I did also get 1/2 the yard mowed, but the other half is overgrown & the 1st 1/2 could do with a trim (00)! & the general clutter continues to compact.
I must look online at what the costs of registering my puppies will be in my council, maybe I can do that while I'm in town? If I got the genny going & started tackling the dirty washing, I could mow my little fella's feet inbetween cycles . . . & then we could go to a favourite 'look-out' spot for a walk 😛 . . . that'd be nice 🙂
Well, by the time I get online, it'll be past Potatoe hour. So I'd better stop blurbing & post 😉
Love to all that need or want it, everything positive gratefully accepted 🙂

It's been a do nothing day today. It was hot again. The puppies & I went for our weir walk this afternoon, though due to the heat, as has become the habit lately, we left later than usual. I was trying to convince myself that I might get in with the young fella; but when we arrived the water level was quite low {probably because it's so hot more water is needed on the properties} & the surface of the water looked a little icky + I can't stand the feeling of mud bottom with all the leaves, twigs & goodness knows what else in it! So the bright yellow 'pool noodles' sat idlely by the bank of the water. I did paddle at the edge & ended up completely wet 😄 The young fella had a ball, swum in circles, clambered up & down the quite steep, slightly empty weir banks all over the place. I 'set-up' with old towels for us to sit on & while the young fella played in the water, I sat & drank the double strength iced coffe I'd bought on the way through town {I went the bitumen road way, it's longer but just in case it rained & 1 of the roads I travelled along to get to the weir it had rained! there were puddles on the side of the road & that wonderful smell of rapidly cooled, wet bitumen ;)} But no rain at the weir & no rain at home.
I'm watching an episode from another series, 1 I got from the dvd shop, it's called Banished. It's a BBC show & it's not too bad, it's set in Australia, back in the English convict days.
I've just turned the little 12v fan off & it not too hot really, not that I'd say it was cool, but at least I'm not instantly sweating 🙂 . . . well that didn't last long - I mightn't have instantly sweated, but there's absolutely no movement of the air never loan a breeze!
Well, I must have writtem myself out in the past few days & I'm determined to lay this body down for Pumking hour!
Good night Everyone, sleep well & may peace surround you ❤️

Re: Niquas Notes

The weir walk sounds good, Niqua. I love your description of smelling steaming rain on bitumen. I get the feeling of the young fella's joy. Glad you ended up wet from paddling! Your iced coffee sounds delicious. Banished is a show I might watch. I'm into history, researched family history a lot some years ago and like some historical shows on tv. My favourite at the moment is Harlots on SBS Vice, Friday nights lateish.

My day away from the computer has only just ended a little while ago with C going to bed. Alone with the night now. Before that was my friend here from midday. Before that medical appointments in the morning. Woke with a really bad headache, looming migraine. Straight away took the medication the GP gave me for that, which works best if it's taken early on. Took a taxi to the GP because I was too unwell to bus and walk it in the heat. Cool woman taxi driver, we had a nice chat. She also works in aged care but drives taxis part-time to supplement hours (not enough at the other job).

Then by the time I'd had the three medical appointments, I was well enough to do the reverse walk and bus ride home. My friend was here within about half an hour. We had a good time, as usual. But the headache has stayed with me. I've noticed headaches around storms before. Might be the atmospheric pressure.

I made my friend delicious (if I do say so) toasties with ham, cheese, tomato, cracked pepper and a bit of salt, for late lunch (we weren't hungry at first). Kept us both hydrated through the hot and humid day. Freshened myself with facewasher to mop up the streaming sweat a few times. C came home and made us fruit smoothies (the kind with all the flesh of the fruit in there), then made us dinner. Storm here tonight. Not too extreme at our place, but I think up north a bit got hammered, probably Brisbane and beyond too. Friend waited for the storm before going home to her sister's place.

Hope you have made the pumpkin hour tonight, Niqua, and that your bed is comfy, cool and peaceful too. @Former-Member

Hello Mazy 🙂 @Mazarita

I had a day away from the computer yesterday too 😉 I bet you the peace of being alone with the night nearly roared in your ears for a moment! 🙂 Sometimes when I get home from a big day, the silence of my Kingdom, I know it sounds weird, but it almost sounds loud!?!

You had an exceptionally big day, medical appointments to start the day, then your friends visit 🙂 . . . all with a potential migraine!!! My child gets those migraine wafers, but theirs often starts while they're sleeping so they don't take it soon enough. They tell me the things are something like $20 a piece - that's a lot of money if you don't take it in time.

I'm glad it passed enough that you were able to do the reverse walk & bus ride home :), but hope it did clear completely through the night.

Your starting to cook up a storm girl, gourmet pasta 1 night, gourmet toasties for lunch 😄 So happy to hear your friend visiting again 😄 & then to have C treat you both with dinner & smoothies . . . perfection 😄

Well hopefully for your heads sake the storms will stay up North; but I've got to say, I sure could do with some of those storms here - I think I'm far enough inland that they wouldn't give you a headache from here 😉

I did make Pumpkin hour last night, pretty sure I wasn't far off it the night before too. I think I was still just having a little 'reaction' from xmas. I hoping I've got it smoothed out now. It was worrying me a little, a few hours here & there that I simply couldn't account for?

I hope you wake up feeling refreshed & all better Mazy & that you get a day or 2 to rest & recoup after your huge adventures 🙂 😄

Love to you Mazy

I really should go to the city today. All the shops will be air-conditioned. I need to get my prescription as I've already run out, I need to update the dogs vaccination cards so I can register them & I need to change my telstra plan to save a little money. I could go into the huge Bunnings in the city & look for a cheap hose and some misting nozzles, my weather site's predicting 40 for the next 3 days - the temps just keep going up . . . fancy that!
I was reading on the weather site, what a 'heat wave' actually is. It's when the temperatures both low & high, are expected to be higher then usual for 3 days or over. I'm not sure if it would officially be a heat-wave out here? I also read, that I live on the edge of the area that makes the heat-waves! {sorry folks ;)}. They are made in the middle of Australia where the rain & moisture doesn't get to very often. My area is classed as 'outback Australia'. I read somewhere that %85 of the population lives along the coastline, that makes me 1 of the rarer %15 that's stupid enough to live in the heat!!!!!
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I've had a big day, huge by my standards! I went to the city, dropping into the next town over on the way & sorting out the last updates at the vets so I can finally fill out the dog registration forms 😉 & getting my prescription filled. Then I made a bee-line to a big shopping center that I knew had a Telstra shop. It took so long & I obviously haven't been in for a while because I've never heard of this take your ph no & ring you when they're ready for you?!? It all felt really weird. I didn't have much to do at that shopping center, I bought my smokes while I was waiting; but ended up going back to the Telstra shop & sitting on 1 of their seats, as I think I felt less exposed in there. It seemed to take forever considering I did try to look at the stuff in the windows before I retreated to hiding back in the shop I was dealing with. But eventually I did get served & the young lady was lovely 🙂 I'm now the proud slave to a 2 year contract on a brand new wireless modem gadget & I'm on a new plan that also covers my phone (I still kept my phone, just got a new sim in it); & I'm able to 'share' the 10GB data I get on the phone plan (which I won't use on the phone) with the 20GB of data I get with the new gadget 🙂 I've gone from 8GB a month to 30GB for about $10 more than what I was already paying 🙂 I made a bit of a fool of my self at the end of the transaction to, I suppose it has been a couple of years since I've been into a Telstra shop, but as she was typing away at the computer on the other side of the counter, I got my card out to pay; she finished typing, came out to my side of the counter, handed me the box with the new fangled gadget in it ... & smiled at me - I didn't understand & must have had the strangest look on my face & said something like "Don't I have to pay you?". But nope, it just goes onto my normal internet bill !?! I was stunned, but boy it took it out of me, I was ready to 'run away' straight home afterwards, but noticed {& remembered when I saw it} an Aldi's, so I did manage to get some basic groceries as well. I haven't even brought them in from the car yet, I'll do it tomorrow, there's no cold stuff in there 😉 I am glad I got the Telstra thing done, I've only been meaning to do that since the end of November 🙂 I won't know myself with 3 X as much data - just finished watching Merlin & Doctor Who 😄 😄 😄
It's Pumpkin hour, I'm buggered & I'm going to bed 🙂
Good night Everyone, sleep well & peace be with you ❤️

Oh my, they've changed tomorrows temp prediction to 41! . . . I know it's just 1 more degree - but it's over 40! I might have to have a look at that camp gear, even if I don't really want to right now, just so that I'm ready if there's another wave . . . so I can at least go sit by a creek & slowly sweat into insanity! XI It starts going down after tomorrow, so the weather site says . . . but it's been changing it's mind everyday so far!

I've got all the curtains & floors wet, I'm taking to squirting me when I go out & squirt the awning sheets 🙂 . . . & any puppies I see when I've got the hose in my hand 😉 But said puppies are not panting, I am not 'suffering' too much heat in my lounge room; Mother is huffin' hot outside, but here sitting on my throne, it's about 30 degrees 🙂 with a nice oscillating gentle breeze 😉 Considering how it was at the center of my Universe, at times feeling banished to the backyard because I couldn't cope - I think home may be the best place for me in summer heat waves; though watching the ripples on the water of a softly flowing creek would probably take my mind off of it pretty well too 😉
Well maybe another quick squirt, because the last 1 was supposed to motorvate me to go out to the car & bring the groceries in 😉 uummm . . . I'll try again 🙂 My idea is that my Throne will be at it's coolest for me to sit & rest in after I've done it 😉
Considering I've had to have the little fan on all night the past couple of nights {oh, that reminds me, gotta change the batteries over!} I think I have to admit I'm in a heat wave.
Bother.
I'm hoping tomorrow will be the last day.

I've got my gadget going & it seems to be working properly (well, I can get onto the World Wide Web :)) Another neat trick with all this techno stuff, is that I can still use the old gadget, it'll keep working & both modems & the phone all share 35Gb of data a month 🙂 35! That's just amazing, I still keep waiting to find some hic-up with it all - maybe that'll come with the first bill, they mention a 'initial' fee, then it all goes into monthly payments. I'm not sure what my initial fees going to be?
I should start thinking about taking the dogs for a walk, they didn't go yesterday. I was too buggered from the city. I didn't even take the little fella with me into the big smoke - all 3 of my constant companions had to spend the day at home alone! Which was only a problem because I wasn't there to squirt incessantly or run the genny & air-evaporative cooler!! {I am a useful owner after all ;)} I think it'll just be a nice familiar walk in our local forest 🙂 It's still pretty hot outside those curtains, but I haven't been quite as obessive with the hose in the last couple of hours 😄 The giant nuclear heater in the sky is going down & the shade of the trees has begun covering the ground - & unless I want to do the torch walk thing (& I don't trust the state forest at night! - torch walks are more of an on-lead, at-home, sort of thing ;)) I'd better think about putting on a couple of collars & maybe a harness ;), turning off the genny, getting everyone into the car & walking 🙂
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

It wasn't so hot last night, I didn't have to put the fan on until early this morning. Maybe they're wrong about today - Oh well, I guess I'm about to find out 😉

Re: Niquas Notes

Good morning, Niqua,

I hope the day is remaining as cool as possible where you are. Glad it wasn't too hot for you last night.

Let's hope your 'initial fee' for the phone and internet isn't too unpleasantly surprising. 30G is a lot, great to have such an increase. C and I share landline ADSL here which gives us 40G, but only half of that is in 'peak', which covers most of the day and night. I'd have to go back to my naughty nightowl habits if I was to use 'off peak' at all. For mobile, I am on prepaid.

I don't like contracts. I get in trouble with any kind of debt, have been a bankrupt in the past due to credit card reaching an amount I couldn't pay when I was near destitute, my father had just died and I needed surgery. It was around that time I was close to homeless too. That was not long after I arrived in Queensland, an impulsive move during a mania time. I don't regret it now, as I feel better where I am than where I was. Sometimes life moves us in strange ways.

You are right that the peace of solitude in the night is sweet to me. It's a different mood altogether. Ah, but I have to keep those visits to that night time place to a minimum for my own best interests really. Part of why I slept all day yesterday and then again from before pumpkin hour last night, was that I had that overnighter. I do feel it in the following two days after one.

Will keep this shortish. Just wanted to send out some words to you this day. Love streaming. @Former-Member

Re: Niquas Notes

Good Morning Mazy @Mazarita,

I hope you've caught-up on some much needed sleep & your heads gently getting around the screening

I remember peak & off-peak times for Internet 🙂 I think that's a home-base set up, there is no home-base set up for where I am except Satellite {now there's dollars & cents!!}, so I have wireless mobile broadband, it costs a little more, but I've gotten rather used to being able to take it anywhere I go 😉

I don't like contracts either, & I always used to stick to the ones that 'slowed down' once you reached your allocated download limit {which out here equates to 'stops when it runs out'} But I got tired of running out & those contracts are hard to come by these days. My last one was $55 for 8GB, then $10/GB after that - I got a couple of doozy bills in the past couple of years. This one is $50 for 20GB + $45 for 10GB on the phone (&calls+texts) + $5 for 5GB & the ability to share the data across all my gadgets - a bit confusing but it seems like the better deal {I paid $30 a month for pre-paid phone, which I don't use much, it's mainly for my childs ph call at night}

Thank you for allowing me to glimpse that desperate time of your life, I'm thinking it's a time you don't like to look at very often. I have been kicked-out many times in my life, I've done many unpleasant things just to have a roof over my head - that's why I love my Kingdom, my bubble, my very own chunk of land that I have a piece of paper to prove I own! I may be squatting on it as the dwelling isn't up to standard, it may have a rather toxic industry in the area, oh yeah . . . . & Summer gets a bit warm; but it's mine & I don't regret it - I think it saved my life! 😉

Would it be silly to plan for 1 all-nighter a month, planning also for the days of recovery? So that you can enjoy that special feeling? I suppose it could be a little like saying to me, just get drunk once a month . . . I know that would't work for me. Do you think you might have an addictive quality associated with the elctro-chemical processes of all-nighters?

Your words are wonderful to me Mazy, whenever your up-to writing them 🙂

The bundles twice as big as usual & the super soft silk is shiny tight & about to burst, because there's so much love in it for you

Niqua

Thurs15Feb 1145

I began today by feeding the critters, wetting the curtains & floors, in between washing the dishes & waiting for the kettle to boil for a coffee 🙂 I slept fine, it was definitely a cooler night 🙂
I'm just starting to think about going to the servo & filling the fuel container for the genny. I deliberately left it until today to get it, as I wanted to see how the heat went - just in case a few bags of ice were needed, I don't think they are. The past few mornings I have woken up & started the genny, feeling the need for the cooler. Today, it's nearly midday, I've got 3 little 12vt fans going & we're doing ok 😉 It definitely doesn't feel as bad as yesterday, I think {hope with all my might!;)} they got it wrong 🙂
I did notice a cool breeze during our walk in the forest yesterday evening, enough so that it caused me to lift up my arms & allow that breeze complete access to my body 😄 It wasn't as noticeable a cool change as I have noticed before; but I do remember thinking it was the first cool breeze in a couple of days {or nights!}.
I've gotten as far as getting the dog registration forms out, they're sitting on the coffee table beside me. I know I have all the information I need to fill them out & get that done, so that might be my task for today 😉
I have a plan forming in my head - 1. Fill out the forms. 2. Go to the servo & fill the jerry can. 3. Go to town & register the dogs! 😄 I might even let the dogs have a run in the off-lead area while we're in town {always cracks me up to think I have to go into town to an official off-lead area because there's so few places safe enough to do so out here! :)} Even though it's an on-lead walk day . . . they did miss out entirely the day I went to the city.
I might grab some veggies to steam up for dinner, this weather has not been very stimulating for the appetite. I'll definitely get something cold, my corner store does these little trays of melon or paw-paw, I might get 1 of each! 😉 & of course . . . a double strength iced-coffee - a girls gotta have some vices 😉 something to make all the battling worthwhile!
But to be honest I don't feel like doing anything just yet, so the heat will either get me out of this chair or I'll enjoy using a little more data on my gadget; where I have used 3.37GB of 35.09GB with 6 days left 😄 😄 😄 . . . there's this site that used to take you to the moon & other planets in our solar system, I had to get rid of it because it used so much data . . . it's tempting .. . 😉
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Just a friendly reminder to myself - CHANGE BATTERIES OVER FOR THE FANS TODAY !!!!!!!!!
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2000

I did change that battery over, thanks for the reminder me 😉
I also did eventually start putting my plan into gear 😉 I filled out the forms {honestly I think I was sort of putting myself off everything because of that task - I HATE filling out forms!!! :X}, decided seeing as though I was going into town to register the dogs I'd go into the servo in there too; so I did that first thing as I hit town 🙂 & then although it was 1630 & I wasn't even sure if the council would still be open {it was, it's open till 5pm mon-fri :)}, I went & registered the dogs! 🙂 😄 [FINALLY!] It took forever! There was a young lady & her Grandmother there, sorting out the grandgirl getting authority to sign for her Grandma, & they were pretty . . . 'country';) & it seems my local council has only got 1 computer & it's used for searching data & the likes, as well as cash register & invoice printer . . . & everything. So, they can really only serve 1 customer at once. I didn't mind really, though I did have the puppies in the car - I was parked in the shade, the windows & vent were open & they had their 'wet collars' on; & this huge empty room, in this even bigger silent building, was air-conditioned to within arctic levels :D!!! . . . there was a comfortably cushioned seat provided, so it wasn't all bad having to wait. The staff member I got must have been new, they kept having to ask {& wait for} the other staff member for assistance. They both apologized & thanked me for my patience profusely when they where finished with me & I was leaving 🙂 After that I dropped into the corner store & grabbed a small tray with 1/2 each of broccoli & cauliflower & a small sealed bag of turkey slices {about 1/2 doz} - how's that for a healthy, easily prepared meal 🙂 I'd say the vegi's are done & it's time to add the sliced meat & turn it off, that'll give it time to heat the meat up while I finish blurbing 🙂 😉
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2015

Turkey's warming up with the vegi's 🙂 Dinner is done Dude 😄 Reckon I'm gonna eat it while I sit back & watch a show 🙂 Not a bad day really, I think it was cooler - although I have noticed I didn't check the thermometer all day! . . . like sub-consciously I didn't want to know for sure?
Even though it was a on-lead walk day, I decided I'd treat the fellas with a swim at the local abandoned quarry, where I know there's a dam. The little fella didn't get in, I'm sticking with it not being hot enough for him - though he did dip his feet {as I did} {might consider getting into this dam when my 'surf shoes' arrive from evil Ebay ;)} For the first time ever I saw evidence of Human beings!!! (OO)!! I noticed some paw prints first, realizing they weren't from my dogs as they hadn't been over to that area yet - then I saw them, Human foot prints, looked like at least 1 adult & a child {& I'm guessing they had at least 1 dog with them ;)} It kind of made the dam feel safer knowing someone was willing to take their kid in there? The young fella had a ball, in fact he really didn't want to get out. I threw sticks & stones {he doesn't care, he just wants something to chase in the water 🙂 :D} until I'd had enough; then he just sat in the water 😄 I ended up throwing a couple more, 'cause he just really looked like he wanted 'just 1 more swim' ;)' & eventually we went home 🙂
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I slept well last night, I think I might have that sleep pattern back under control 😄 & it didn't really take that long considering I was away from home for nearly a month & I did have a near altercation with THE most important person in my Universe!! There's been a birthday in between, my day to day routine is returning - despite Mother nature trying to cook all the little annoying Human ticks off her out here! 😄 Life is going on 🙂

I've got a battered old canvas bag of love here, it's not as pretty as a silk bundle, but it's just as full of love in fact it's over-flowing from the top . . . you could walk along beside it & kick a little with your foot if you wanted to 😉

Re: Niquas Notes

Niqua,

Your thursday... I love your description of how you lifted your arms to the breeze in the forest. It's a natural impulse, isn't it? Somehow I've lost it due to people always around, probably thinking I'm flashing my armpits at them, lol. Even on the beach, I don't do it anymore. Sad.

Which is how I feel tonight.

Also dig how you are persistent in moving forward with the jobs, registering the dogs. I relate to that too. Doesn't matter how slow we go, but if we can keep moving forward with things, that's a blessing. They eventually get done that way.

Funny how civilisation can allow freedom in some ways, as with the 'off lead' area for the dogs. Enough safety in civilisation to allow freedom. It's a new thought to me. Usually I see civilisation as very oppressive. But I do recognise the need for law too. Otherwise we would be run by mafia of various kinds, I think. Another sad thing I wish I didn't have to believe, but do. I wish I could believe more in human nature really.

It's a depressing time in history to live. I feel the restrictions closing in on me as the world becomes more fascist. This includes Australia. Again, so sad.

Well, what a feast of sadness I am offering in this mail. For not so surprising reasons, I thought of you as someone who might not mind if I shared this sad and depressed mood that is with me tonight. The weird thing is, it's kind of relaxing, makes your body want to just go floppy. What's the most painful is trying to be 'up' when this state of being has arrived. That is stressful, a terrible strain, feels so wrong.

I think you should get your solar system app back. That (in contrast to me tonight) sounds like joy!

Yay, just read that you registered the dogs! That gave me another smile!

And always interested and good to read about your social encounters too, in shops, at the council, on roads. It seems to me you have become more fearless in that way than before. Perhaps not fearless inside. But courageous about doing it anyway.

Niqua, I have a pair of surf shoes too! What an odd thing to have in common. Mine sit in my cupboard though. I bought them thinking they might help my feet when walking on the sand down there. But no, just made it more difficult to walk really. But I think they will work a treat for your purposes!

Good to hear your sleep is getting back to the usual. I slept all last night and all today until about 5pm, with only short breaks of wakefulness in between. Not from an all-nighter this time, just complications of my inner life, including a medication change I'm going through now. I'm hopeful tomorrow will be a better day. After all this sleep, and I expect to get to bed relatively early tonight too, hoping I will feel well rested and more energetic tomorrow.

Thank you so much for appreciating my words. The feeling is mutual.

Love to you. @Former-Member

I'm just listening to some music & sounds I downloaded from the net. I've got jungle sounds going at the moment, I think it may actually have been recorded in a jungle . . . it's complete with incessant buzzing of bugs!!! but beautiful bird-songs of so many kinds 🙂 . . . now this is the sort of music I can get into 😄
I still can't get over this Telstra deal, I've gone from 8 GB a month to over 8GB a week! - just imagine how many jungle jams I can download now!:D!
OOooo now I've got jungle animal sounds in the background 😄 🙂 {I love it! :D}
The temperature is much kinder today, it's warm - but I'm about to go check the thermometer for the 1st time . . . a touch over 30, I've got 3 little 12vt fans going & I re-wet the curtains while I was up, but haven't bothered wetting the floors today 🙂
There's grey clouds out there, but in my opinion they're a little too high to amount to anything, & I've had grey clouds about for many days - I even know for certain there has been rain around my area as I've driven over the wet roads after it!!
Aww, how's that for perfect . . . the music/sounds have just turned into a pond full of frogs 🙂 😉
I like this digital music stuff, it may not be 'brand name' stuff but I end up getting a huge variety of sounds & styles 😄
I've been playing with some digital stuff all day, not really having any idea what I'm doing but enjoying a few hours of trying anyhow. I found this great 'clip' of colourful streaks of light, that reminded me of 'warp speed' 😄 & another of slow motion rain in a open forest - I was trying to get 1 music insert to play with the 'warp speed' & then finish just as the rain clip started, so that the 2nd sound insert of rain could begin. I almost got it, all except I couldn't figure out how to get the 2nd sound clip to start - it kept insisting on a 'click' even though I set it to automatic? ppfftt (OO) I don't know 😄
You'll never guess what's playing now? . . . well you'll never guess if you just keep reading! 😄 Rain, it's playing rain 😄 😄
Today is Friday . . . Friday Feast Yay! . . . please brain, keep that in there 😉 {now I have a wonderful babbling brook flowing in the background :)}
It's an off-lead walk day today & I think I might take the boys somewhere different to our lovely familiar forest track. We've got a few other familiar 1's that we haven't seen in a while now 😉 I might get all rebellious & go what I call 'The local Beach' 😄 Rebellious because I know I'm not supposed to take the dogs there {though I've never seen anyone or any other dogs there, & it borders directly onto residential blocks that are allowed dogs?!?} 'Beach' because the soil is extremely fine & sand-like there, I can take my shoes off & it feels like I'm walking on the Beach {& I think it's actually a little easier walking bare-foot on the deep soft bits ;)}

I just read through your post on Niquas Notes Mazy ❤️

*phone call from my child*

2100

I feel sad about you feeling sad, but it's ok 🙂 Nobody can be happy all the time, your allowed to feel sad sometimes ❤️
I wouldn't dare open my limbs & allow the breeze full access to my body if there was another Human Being around 😉
It may take me a few days, weeks, months to process things {like registering the dogs & Telstra}, but there's no other way I can do them 🙂 😄 There's a saying, Viking in origin I think, something along the lines of 'Empty your mind, do without doing & then everything will get done'. I relate to it 🙂
I think civilization may have allowed too many freedoms in too many ways. Human Beings have no predators other than themselves for instance - civilization has given our entire race the freedom to dominate every other species. It's given us the freedom to choose which species we will allow to prosper & which we will extinguish. It has given us the freedom to live in inhospitable, almost uninhabitable lands & destroy huge areas of temperate, fertile 1's.
I think I suffer the same melancholy as you when it comes to Human Beings. But like you, I think I see the need for the fascism - it all comes down to numbers; huge, almost inconceivable numbers of Human Beings & the species of plants & animals in the huge numbers that are needed to provide for all those people! I think it includes the Planet ❤️
Some sadness is a feast, it's a touch of reality, some real life emotions seeping through the pixels that form the letters & words on the screen. I do not mind if you share real emotion with me Mazy, I am honoured ❤️ The relaxing thing does sound weird? I wonder whether your actually physically tired, there's a lot of processing going on with everything external - like your friends visits & the fact that they still haven't exactly settled yet, medical appointments, huge public travels for 'C's jumper, your Mum & Aunt wanting to attend your show . . . all the external things: & everything internal - like your immunity intestinal problems, your feet & legs, your new dose of medication, everything internal. Your body might just be trying to tell you to rest, which your doing, which somehow I don't think is the worst thing. I really hear the pain of trying to be 'up' when your simply not.
I'm still thinking about cyber-travelling the solar system 😉
Yay indeed, my puppies have pretty neon-green tags for their collars when we go out 😄 They're registered & microchipped, live inside a 6ft dog mesh fence & are spoilt rotten . . . I can't think of any more ways to keep them safe 😄
I hope either you had some enjoyable wakefulness or more healing sleep, either way I've got every phalanges crossed, hoping for a better day tomorrow for you ❤️ 🙂

I didn't go to the local 'Beach', I left it a bit late & I know sometimes I get a little lost getting there or back, so I just decided on another familiar forest walk, though we went to the 2nd track for a bit of a change 🙂

Still thinking of you Mazy Hoping this mornig has put a smile on your dial 😄

Love you Maz

Re: Niquas Notes

I've found my Super-Heroine personality Thanks to you Claire @outlander

Nanny BooBoo is always there with a bandage and a kiss when you're need. She's also able to soothe crying children with a single shush! {Now that really is a super-power!!!} & She's the perfect Super-Heroine symbol for me because she's an imaginary figure :)! {Marg makes her up ;)}

So nutty super-nanny Niqua-Boo Boo, is hushing all your tears & kissing away all your pains

I love you Claire
