I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.
I don't care about the ramifications, I don't care about the downstream impacts.
I just want to destroy myself.

To deal with an immediate "want to die" feeling @Former-Member, or to deal with a longer term one?
I don't have answers - just trying to understand, plus didn't want you to be alone with those thoughts/feelings.

@Former-Member For an immediate thought/urge, I'd recommend laying in the middle of the floor with nothing else around you, listening to whatever sounds are in the room and outside, and focusing on what the floor feels like, if there's any breeze in the air, if it's humid and sticky... And if you run out of things to feel, use one finger to draw over the palm of your other hand and up your arm. Noticing how the nerve receptors react to the touch - you probably know more about the science of it than I do.
If you can call someone or a helpline then all the better. I get that sometimes it doesn't feel like an option, but you're sufferring and deserve the help.
