Something’s not right

I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.

I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.

Does anyone else ever get to the point with sh that they just want to cause as much destruction as possible? Total and utter urge to self destruct?
I don't care about the ramifications, I don't care about the downstream impacts.
I just want to destroy myself.
What do you do?

Sometimes friends are a little loud with complaints that are comparatively disproportionate to ours @Former-Member, but they are not to know ..... hugs Hon ..... not easy .....

So..... I obviously dissocisted this morning on my way into the library so I don't really remember the last few hours...... only problem is. I can't remember where I parked my car!!!!

I would like a new brain right now.

@Former-Member sorry to hear that! Hoping you locate your car soon. Can you recall where you usually park your car when going to the library? Best of luck.

It will be in one carpark, I just need to scan each level till I find it.
I guess what is most scary that I drove whilst dissociating.
I've done it a few times, but it's not a nice thought to think you operated heavy machinery whilst in that state.

Re: I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.

Awwwww @Former-Member ...... that’s rough ......

I know it doesn’t help this time, but can you carry a small notepad and make notes, dates and timed maybe, about things like where you have parked your car to help you put the pieces back together when you come back out of the dissociated state ?

Have you asked about DID ? I believe that can be a part of it ...... an alter takes over for a while leaving you confused about what has happened while you were out to it.

Might explain the missing meds the other week too ?

It might be worth asking the question ?

Hugs ..... hope you find your car quickly.

Re: I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.

I used to use my phone camera a lot - take photos of where I left my car.
I use lists prolifically..... it's the only way I can keep track of what's going on.
I'm thinking I might need to start keeping a diary, just to keep track of what's going on each day and maybe a mood monitor to I can remember when I have down periods. Like I know I had a down period mid last year, but I can't remember when it was or how long it lasted.

DID scares the living shit out of me. So much.
And I don't have 'alternate personalities', every time I've read about DID people talk about their alters and their ages and names etc. I don't have any of that.
I sometimes feel like I'm almost possessed, but not like I have multiple personalities.
Confused and worried @Faith-and-Hope

Re: I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.

Only answer if you’re comfortable with it @Former-Member ...... but would it be worth visiting a DID specialist so they can confirm that you don’t have it ? I’m thinking that if there are conditions that resemble some aspects of DID, that specialist would know about them, and it might come under their canopy of treatment as well.

Re: I know this post is going to be 'moderated', but I really don't care.

I think the therapist I'm seeing would know about it.
I'm just too scared.
I don't know what I would say to him to ask him about it.

Think about it @Former-Member and what you might say ? It’s a vulnerable position to be in and that’s scary, but so is where you are now.

Just park the thought maybe ...... toy with it .... ?
