Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

I get so tired of being strong and being positive and thinking of a new approach. I feel pull out positivity like a rabbit from a hat but that it can become false. I am now hypersentsitive and ambivalent about whether I should continue to post or withdraw.

I have had low self-talk and concentration poor.

My son has been the most loyal of all my family to me ..it worries me because he is vulnerable too.

Nobody else cares and I put a lot of effort into family events for decades.

I started swearing and calliing myself piece of dirt and other things like I am becoming a teenager.d .. but i dont want to have to be teenage boy all the time ..

I would like to have been useful

I have managed to get some help and am grateful, for what has worked.

Re: Crying

why are men so cuel to women, i don't understand how these men are not in jail for what they have done to so many of you, it makes me angry and sad to see men have to treat women like that just to prove their "Manhood".

I have an idea, it might be a little right .....there may be wrong things too. Please tell me.

It seems to me, men, damaged men still have issues from their potty training or seperating from a nasty mother.

Can anyone correct me or finish this ?

Re: Crying

I have never experianced domestic violence, my parents where very kind and calm to each other.

To me it seems a form of impotence, either sexual, paternal or physical, i don't know, but they seem threatened by their partners having any power or equal footing with them. it makes me so angry to see men over power women mentally, sexually and physically, it disgusts me actually, to me these men are nothing more than week little boys who are too scared to stand up to real men so they pick on women to make themselves feel powerful or less impotent.

i don't know maybe i am babling, sorry if this offends any of you.

Re: Crying

im not sure either.. my ex just needed to be able to control everything.. and at the same time constantly be reassured that I wasnt leaving, that I wouldn't ever say anything bad about him to anyone. He was always worried about what other people were thinking about us, if we looked like the model family or not..

Re: Crying

Or separating from a nice mother .. it goes both ways.

Or seeing who can wee the furthest .. ladies usually lose that one.

I am not really into nice and nasty dualisms tho .. I will typically throw a spanner into those works and hope to find a 3rd trait to beef it out... how about nurturing ... including a bit of tough love.

Thats not to say that there are not people who really should never have been parents..

Did you hear about the little girl was helped to ride a motorcyle into a wall by her parents ....

I think respectful discussions about sexuality, gender, and mature relationships are important. No offence taken here.

Re: Crying

yes i agree, their are the ones that have a perental instinct and some who do not have it. i am not the parenting type, neither where my parents, they should never have had kids. they where great parents, but where unable to show any love or affection.

i have been thinking about this topic for so long, thank you guys for discussing it with me. Thank you

Re: Crying

I think part of my prblem as well was (and it devastates me to say it) by I never assertively really stood up to my ex. I never believed I had the right, probably I was never taught that I could. and i actually usually believed i derserved it.. but then when the kds were getting bigger I realised (with help from services) that they definitely couldnt grow up like that and they didnt deserve to be there... and since then i think, i hope, that ive started changing.. gotten a bit stronger.. not sure I'll ever have another partner but anywho.. i think if i had been stronger in the first instance that maybe things wouldnt have gone so far?! but he still chose his actions and should be responsible for them...

Re: Crying

your not blabbling @Jacques 🐐🐰🐓

My life is very exciting tomorrow. Im paying for the coffees for my darling ex husband and me......then taking Arlo to the vets and then.....paying my very large vodaphone bill.

ive been beaten up so much by a boyfriend and my Dad was pushing me into staying with him......bit of passive aggressive action happening there........that was over 12 years ago......

Ive never been hit again because went to therapy for years and years after but another boyfriend stole about 5 thousand from me.

I was with my stalker boyfriend for unfortunately about a year but about 6 months of that was truing to get away from him.

I like being single but spend half of the week with my ex husband. I crave his huge intelligence and way of living and in suprise he quit drugs and alcohol.
