Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

I get so tired of being strong and being positive and thinking of a new approach. I feel pull out positivity like a rabbit from a hat but that it can become false. I am now hypersentsitive and ambivalent about whether I should continue to post or withdraw.

I have had low self-talk and concentration poor.

My son has been the most loyal of all my family to me ..it worries me because he is vulnerable too.

Nobody else cares and I put a lot of effort into family events for decades.

I started swearing and calliing myself piece of dirt and other things like I am becoming a teenager.d .. but i dont want to have to be teenage boy all the time ..

I would like to have been useful

I have managed to get some help and am grateful, for what has worked.

Re: Crying

@Appleblossom
It's is frustrating and gives you anxiety when you are pulled. Needing to get to your session but needing to do your bit for the bits too. And it IS exhausting.

I know that one. We pull all we've got to give it where our heart reaches out so lovingly.

I think doing the family thing, being there mandatory being the Mum's taxi is what we do, and nothing, not even our condition can take away that maternal instinct that even if you were on your dying bed & your kid needed you, you'd jump up and help him FIRST.

I'm found that people have NO idea of the hell we are in with a mental condition.

They are oblivious and IF we do say something they just tell you a THROW AWAY line like; you'll be okay, or Don't worry so much, or Just take it easy or; Yoyre strong or; I wouldn't do that,!!

But NOT once do you get, "hey Hun, how you doing today? Do you need a cuppa & a friendly ear to listen?

And that's mostly WHAT we crave. I do. Just people to stop and SEE there are human beings that hurt out there. Doesn't matter what they DO or DO NOT.. They are souls that need understanding NOT dismissive crap like the usual "THROW AWAY LINES" I cal them.

Oblivious.. That's what they are on social media. I read only bits of a comment by SOME WOMAN here in your post as I was looking to see where mine is?? I'm so new here I am a real Virgin.

One comment I made mentioned a med that the doc prescribed & no it was not good enough. I think I've commented on 3.

Then a reply to a lady with the ex playing games in family court ??

Ohh that riles me up. I told her how to gandjr it. Since I've done 12 years in frankly court REPRESENTING MYSELF. As the ex had stolen my kids. (Long story)
I didn't break over that, I remained fighting FOR 12 years for ORDERS to see them.

I've got CPTSD. Anyway back to you.

She states. I know you post a lot on thr forums but you have it work out what you need from them. Blah blah like what are you doing whinging or gets ever on here..

How RUDE, and condescending was THAT? Indidnt read the whole reply as it DISGUSTED ME. I thought these forums here on SANE was to SPEAK FREELY of how we FEEL. What's happening to us

THAT THIS IS A SAFE ENVIRONMENT where we all are suffering in out own way AND BTW: I'm angry again (that woman with the "you've got baggage" WE ALL HAVE BAGGAGE., and you who point the finger, know this, the ONES WHO judge another with judgement connects ARE REALLY talking about themselves!!

Anyway; I believe there is no way you can write openly on social media. You readily can't be sad or crying in thr presence of your son. Sometimes YES. Let him see you as human, but, we've got to protect our kids feelings too.

HERE is where you CAN CRY., feel your feelings. My BIGGEST CRY OUT, as I've been the go getter. T fixes everything. Runs the company, gets done in nor day what 4 would struggle to do. Has a world of knowledge of healing so ask her what to do. Anyone in any trouble would call me and if RUN OUT of work to go and help them.

I WAS A WORKAHOLIC, it was my drug of choice back then trying to cope with thr loss of my kids. (What this "drug" did was extraordinary as I opened an industry with a new invention . An unknown product WITH NO MONEY in a recession wr had to have. I door knocked for 6 years getting this product sold & accepted, into the Building Industry. I was treated very HOSTILE you can imagine in 1991. How DARE a woman soeak of roofs & gutters?? haha I DONT intimidate easily., knowledge!! I HAD THE KNOWLEDGE & when smart arse builders would say; "I'm a BUILDER!!" I'd say; "and SO?"

Then when they tried to trip me up with wring data of a roof spec id STAND my ground and show thek ONLY an idiot would maje that comment., the building code states THIS. And you call yourself a builder?? No wonder we see SHIT houses just built!! We alert the client to get you back IN and fix it before we do our work on there., !!
(Grin, he's 6 foot 3 and ik only a petite 5 foot 2. WAS petite I've out ON so much weight it's ridiculously. I was growing WEEKLY, and telling my Psych. NO he says the meds don't put on weight. D'ohh can you SEE the size of me??

I was a XXS and I've got to buy L clothed??? So, yes. Cry. And tell us when you hurt because we should BE there for you supporting you when you are human & your soul is crying.

Because there will be other times others or me will be crying too. And we know we can say so here as we ALL understand what it's like. Crying & sadness is good. It's "normal" emotions. You should be proud of yourself.

Depression is not how our bodies need to be. Our body waves homeostasis. Not negativity which over produces cortisol.

Stress IS the basis of the cause of 90% of ALL deaths..

That's why we FEEL like we are dying. WE ARE. So , our search & meds & medical car AND community that HAS COMPASSION & EMPATHY is our saviour.

You KEEP WRITING GIRL., communicate and get it all off your chest . We've all berg there. We are no different to you than you are to you l.,

Re: Crying

Sorry to hear you missed the appointment, hopefully they can get you in again next week. Can you get into the dr sooner than 3 weeks? I know when I get slow things are getting bad for me. Don't put yourself last with everything you deserve to be looked after even if it's only by you 😄 I made my self a distraction kit today - colouring in book pencils , a book, some play dough (knead it in my hands roll squish) a note book and pen, perfume and pictures of my two rabbits aka children)
Hugs

Thank you for your support @Jystme. We have both been sole business operators and lost our children .. I have lost my daughter/s.

Yes .. Throw away lines can be extremely destructive.

@Former-Member Its the new doc GP.. she made a double appointment for me for after the meds had kicked in, 6 weeks after first session during crisis (3 weeks ago). Also she wanted to wait til all my files had arrived from the previous doctor .. I thought I had set paperwork up ... but even in this day and age some things are slow .. it has to go throu some central office so takes over a month ... apparently ... Said she could get to know me better then .. fair enough ... she is flat out I know .. this is a marginalised area .. low services etc ... hanging in there.. trying not to make a bad impression. She was very generous with her time for a single appointment the last time.

Re: Crying

I am feeling that the Moodspot Course can be paternalistic .. in that it presumes that we think that bad things are going to happen ... and that they dont ... like we are silly children ....it does not accept that often depression is a reaction to bad things that HAVE HAPPENED.

It is good in that it includes the importance of neutrlity and that our worldview isnt just positive and negative but various shades

Re: Crying

Yes, I think that is the general approach that I get from my gp too.. That I expect bad things to happen when I shouldn't and yet life is the biggest teacher...
Glad tha you can see some positives though

Bloody Hell lj

I wouldnt have survived at all if I wasnt a positive thinker ... I dont think that is the problem ... they need to look at situational stress ... and not rumble on about the resilient ones .. I am one of the resilient ones ..

anhy way how are you tonight ... kids go down ok?

In response to: Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

Re: Crying

I felt like .... You know exactly how I feel .....
Does anyone else agree ?
