Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

Re: Learning about Relationship Boundaries

I get so tired of being strong and being positive and thinking of a new approach. I feel pull out positivity like a rabbit from a hat but that it can become false. I am now hypersentsitive and ambivalent about whether I should continue to post or withdraw.

I have had low self-talk and concentration poor.

My son has been the most loyal of all my family to me ..it worries me because he is vulnerable too.

Nobody else cares and I put a lot of effort into family events for decades.

I started swearing and calliing myself piece of dirt and other things like I am becoming a teenager.d .. but i dont want to have to be teenage boy all the time ..

I would like to have been useful

I have managed to get some help and am grateful, for what has worked.

Its hard to have that continuous pain @Appleblossom... Is there any chance you could get back into the osteo person again next week, maybe a couple of treatments in a row might help out? I know here in SA you can get free physio care from community health through a GP appointment (they keep suggesting it for me lol! but i hate being touched! so havent been) I wonder what options there might be? Money is the suckiest thing when it comes to these basic sorts of medical needs and things! So unfair!

Hope your vegan dinner is great tonight! (i'm on a diet at the moment and dont feel like anything healthy LOL!!)

Re: Crying

Yeah I know about not wanting to be touched, last massage was about 5 years ago with a catholic nun who needed practise bodies for her massage diploma. I also knew that getting my body manipulated/ massaged, chiro etc was not going to help if the sources of stress from other or self harm did not abate. So I generally save my money on alternative health although its probably great ..and isolate issues and deal with stressors first. I am pretty analytical that way.

dear @Appleblossom

How is your neck?

Re: Crying

A bit better at the moment .. my dinner party for introverts is over and they are mucking around on the piano.

It started to go out a few weeks ago and it seems I am back into a full seize up which I call a "neck event'. It will probably take another week to settle. I try to settle it without others poking around too much. The myotherpaist yesterday was just cos I have been meaning to do it for months and kept putting it off ..thanks for asking. I was treated by my family as a malingerer .. I actually didnt realise it .. but when I was a the gym and moved here 13 years ago ... occasionally a lady would come up to me and say yes it looks as if you are in pain .. it really helped .. 2 people said it in such a way that acknowledged it was obvious ... by my solo life that I had nobody supporting me and that I should have had. Thanks for asking @PeppiPatty

Re: Crying

hi @Appleblossom

Isabella,

You know that position you take where your lying on your tummy on the bed with your arm hanging down and your face pointed the other way and hold the position for 5 mins...does that help?

Are you doing better day by day with support from the Sane Forums your certainly giving it 🐓🐔🐺🐣🐱🐤🐂🐩🐢🐦🐕🐶🐹🐥

Re: Crying

Do you mean with arms hanging over the side of the bed and arching up and holding?

Early this year I did internet searches for more and new exercises and stretches. That was one.

I have to learn to claim my space in house. @hopeandsupport and @Jacques gave me support to do that. It is kinda serious as when I cant settle even at home .... but it has been that way most of my life.It is the first time anyone heard my need for that.

Tonight I said 2 important "nos". No to being moved off my chair before I had finished eating and No to using my piano room when they are better of using the piano at their end of the house and I dont get shoved here and there. It is not really his fault as I just became so compliant I would do anything to avoid conflict and he became used to it.

I also asked for a good night hug.

That is a big win from SANE forums. I know a lot of theory but I dont know about normal living and I dont know how abnormal my situation is.

Re: Crying

hey Isabella,

Only one arm hanging down because other arm is on the bed.....

No arching back, flat back... when i get ma computer i can probably send a cartoon pic of someone doing it.

So try lying on bed on left side. Your feet hanging off bottom of bed. One arm hanging down, one arm lying on bed.

Turn your head to the right lying on tummy

And hold it.
