Angry and alone

Angry and alone

Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.

I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

Re: Angry and alone

I just want to be myself again. This giant blob of a person is no good to anyone, least of all myself.

@TheVorticon. I hear you. It's so hard when we feel this way. It just makes everything else wrong in our life - so much bigger.
Now the question is - what can you do to stop focusing on the negative tonight?

Re: Angry and alone

I don't think its possible to not focus on it. I just can't/don't do anything

Re: Angry and alone

That's okay tonight @TheVorticon. There are days like that where we can't or don't want to do anything. I've felt that way this past week.
I'm here for you in anyway I can be.
Feel free to write how you're feeling & I'll be here to listen.

Re: Angry and alone

This is my stupid life now where I just waste the whole thing. I'm sick of feeling like everything is impossible and too hard. Every day seems to be just getting through the necessary and I can't even be bothered with things that I want to get done. If it was just today then maybe it would be ok but it's all the time other than brief moments.

Re: Angry and alone

I understand @TheVorticon. Sometimes the only things we can grab hold of - are those brief moments.

I don't accept this as a forever reality. It's not a life that's good enough for anyone.

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon - that's why I focus on those special moments when I can. The more I focus on them - the more I notice those special moments - & then the more special moments I have.
It's retraining the brain - 1 moment at a time.
Our brains are so used to the negative - that a positive moment is unique.
But I do believe the more we notice them - the better we are.
But like anything worthwhile it takes time and practice. And support from the right people. Even mums and dads.

@TheVorticon. Not sure if you are ready for a joke - or even if you may find this funny. So I put it here in good faith & if you don't like it - please just ignore.
'Adult life may be full of pain and suffering, but at least we don't have to do PE anymore'.
There is always a positive to be taken from every negative. That's my utopian view anyway.

Re: Angry and alone

I guess but it doesn't seem sustainable. I need to sort myself out, parents back interstate and I have to somehow use up the food they bought while here before it goes bad (unsure if already going bad since feeling bit nauseous but if it is at least I won't be going to work tomorrow).
