Angry and alone

Angry and alone

Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.

I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon. I only mentioned my memory and concentration problems - because it really is frustrating when we can't do what we want to do. Or believe that others are performing those tasks better than us.
We are quick to judge ourselves. Quick to label ourselves.
Why do we have to be so hard on ourselves. So judgemental. Why can't we accept who we are?

@TheVorticon. How did dinner with your family go? Did it help ease your frustrations from earlier in the day?

Re: Angry and alone

Yep pedal @Appleblossom. Grotty bright lycra top and all, although sensible shorts.
Haha yeah, always good to give them a tough one now and then 😉
Guess I should be on the lookout for that line, I might have gone 3 blocks past it but I'm not stopping to ask for directions.
My night was good despite myself. They'd put dinner on when I got home, tolerated a walk for Pokemon Go which was awesome cause 2nd gen came out today. So a few spikes of excitement before the rubbish set back in.
How has your night been?

@utopiayeah good point- it certainly is frustrating. I guess it's easy to absorb messages of what "things going good" looks like for other people and then fail to put it into context when we use that as a yardstick for ourselves.

By the time I got on the bike I was already in my sad mopey zone so it wasn't quite as effective as I'd hoped. I think I read that you were sick today... I hope you're feeling better. How're you doing?

Haha ..

glad that there was tolerable time had by all ..

I am glad I didnt have to wear lime green .. life was easier on the eyes ..when I pedalled in the 1980s .. been a while.

We watched stand up Stewart Lee tonight and were generally lazy/

Just a nice night at home .. with me running off to supermarket at odd hours .. .. poor son has to put up with kooky mum.

I finally joined facebook .. after all these years !

Eating my meals backwards .. tonight .. had dessert early .. am finishing my tabouleh

the line is .. where its most useful .. and does least harm ..

Re: Angry and alone

Haha @Appleblossom yeah my parents know that I'm still a big dorky kid at heart. "Sorry but we're going to have to sit around here for 10mins while I train up this pokemon gym, get comfortable" Couldn't convince them to download the game yet

What was the infrastructure like for cycling in the 80's? No bike lanes?

Glad that you had a nice night. Backward meals can be fun. My grocery trips are usually at strange hours too but they don't seem as strange when it's just me by myself. Congrats on joining facebook and welcome to the dark side 🙂

Thanks for chatting with me yesterday and last night everyone. Hope you all have a good Saturday.

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon. Touch if gastro yesterday. All good today so I went to the Farming Expo and bought some herb and fruit plants. My second favorite thing to buy - after books.
It's brilliant when you come home from a long day (shite day) at work, to find dinner cooking. The smell before you even walk in the door. Heaven. You can tell I'm a single parent. Rare to get a meal cooked for me.
I'm not into the Pokemons - but I did hear they were realeasing a new stage. So pretty exciting for many people. I bet it's really popular in the cities.
I hope you have a nice day today.

@TheVorticon

It was chaos. No bike lanes, not even compulsory helmets when I used to ride down St Kilda Road every day.

I used to indulge him trying to play games when he was a kid, but I cant get into it enough to get any good.

Its easier to just accept we have different entertainment/ wind down styles.

@utopia Farming Expo sounds great.

I have run out of space to put the fruit plants ... I have a bucket of apples that need using

Re: Angry and alone

@Appleblossom. Birds took my apples this year. And my plumbs and pears. I've had a slack time in the garden the past few summers. But I need to get in their and start cleaning it all up and re-do my vegie beds.
Tomorrow I'll pick up all the fallen fruit and bag them on black plastic & annihalate any fruit fly larvae. Won't be long before the whole country has fruit flt.
I'm on a 1/4 acre & most of it is north facing back yard. So I always have room for more plants. But only because my son doesn't need a cricket pitch in the backyard anymore. Lol
