Angry and alone
Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.
I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

@TheVorticon'Angry' and 'Alone' is a horrible way to feel and that's putting it mildly ! I care because you DO matter. No matter what anybody arounbd you says or does.
I'm really glad you're here because I reckon I can pretty safely say that other people in here care about you too. Sounds cliche but it's for real.
I wish there were some magic words I could say that would 'fix' it but obviously there aren't. You don't have to 'share' anything but sometimes it helps knowing you can if you want or need to without being judged.

Hi @TheVorticon
I'm sorry you are stuggling so much, it sounds really awful. I don't have much experience with anger, i think its something that i need to learn to let out somehow... I do understand sh urges though and how hard that is. Dark thoughts and thinking negatively, ruminating over things that make me feel worse has been something that i would get a high distinction in too... sigh!
I definitlely belive that there is help out there for you, don't give up. As @utopia mentioned it took her time to find the right type of therapy for her. I have struggled to make progress with some aspects that I struggle with but am going to try something new this year, which terrifies me but also hoping that it will help.
I'm sorry that you didnt get much response when you first wrote your post. And I think you're right, we're taught that anger is somehow 'bad' or 'scary' when it isn't or doesnt have to be. it has its own place, and is necessary, and should be explored further.
Keep reaching out, you're probably teaching other people more than you know, and there are undoubtedly many many others who are struggling similarly but dont have the courage to speak up... yet.
take care
lj

Sorry I have been flat out. But I hear you. I honestly dont know what is around MH wise, but KEEP LOOKING. It is hard to manage overwhelming anger. Go running, join a sports club which will give you the physical outlet plus the discipline to manage it.
I was worried about a cousin who drank and had reason for a lot of anger, but he found himself in the bush and does really well at archery now.
I have always been concerned about the gender imbalance in social groups. men sometimes go solo or stick to men's groups .. but I think it is better if we can mix a bit more postively between the sexes ...
Dont give up on your humanity, find a way that is right for you.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped out. Still not doing great but less sad than the weekend.

I guess I could, although won't be saying much. Rightly or wrongly I don't really feel as though anyone wants me around here.
