Angry and alone
Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.
I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

@TheVorticon, I'm sure there used to be a method in psychology in the 80's where if you were capable of expressing anger you were then declared sane because you were no longer bottling it in and letting it manifest. Even doing exercise, or shredding paper, or cleaning vigorously.. if you think of all the things you hate then do some exhaustive activity you would be better off than if you hadn't.

Hi @TheVorticon
You put your conundrums very clearly.
I had a lot of difficulty "talking' on this site and just socially as I had difficulty with all the presumptions floating around about gender.
I also know that anger is a large part of life, whether we admit or not.
I also felt like a monster for many years, but am finally beginning to shake that one.
Yes it is tricky to get a sense that both female and male experiences are included in a discussion. Keeping a balance can be hard work, and often men dissappear and go solo and sporty while women bond and claim the moral high ground.
It has been a problem well before this particular forum. Tis a pity cos it keeps the battle of sexes alive .. instead have finding harmonious ground.
Take care ... you have shown a lot of sensitivity and social concern.

Thanks everyone but I think I'll just go be alone on my own for awhile.

Yeah I saw your thread @utopia and the situation completely sucks. It makes sense that you'd be angry, and I honestly wasn't expecting you to reply to me. Particularly with what's going on for you - you need to look after you.
What sucks for me is that there doesn't seem to be much support available for people whose responses turn into anger. It hasn't escaped me that you're one of the very few who are willing to deal with me on this forum, when you are able to do so.
If I'm feeling nervous about something, or especially when it's about nothing - anger.
If I'm feeling sad/disappointed " " " " " " .... - anger.
I don't experience these things in a support-accessible way. Often it's accompanied by too much adrenaline and an urge to break something or just tear the rubbish pathetic feeling out and my head along with it. Been managing not to SH when it happens but I'm not sure I'll bother trying for much longer.
I mean [feeling rubbish on my own] > [feeling rubbish on my own + dealing with the fact that no one can help] so I'm better off just not.

They say that there's help, but not for me. I can't keep kidding myself.
Thanks anyway.

@TheVorticon Why don't you think there is a therapy or medication out there for you?
You just haven't found it yet, is all. I know I went through a few counsellors and psychologists before I found help. One therapy that worked for others didn't work for me. Another did. It's trial and error and that takes time. That suxs. But if you can find someone that you can talk to, a professional, stick with them. Over time, they should be able to teach you some coping strategies that may reduce the angers strength.
You are worth it.
