Angry and alone

Angry and alone

Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.

I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon. What do you mean by the combination of gender?
Are you uncomfortable being around the same sex or opposite sex?

Re: Angry and alone

Or are you concerned about your feelings of anger & then being around other people? @TheVorticon

Re: Angry and alone

I feel like my gender + my feelings of anger and associated thoughts doesn't balance with the people here + their experiences.

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon. I find that can be a good thing. The diversity of life experience of others in the workplace. We are all of us different. We have all lived different histories. We all deal with our emotions differently.
You are able to keep your anger in check. Andyou are aware of ppossible 'triggers' in the workplace. Are you able to avoid particular people - if they are a trigger?

Re: Angry and alone

Well by "here" I meant on the forum. I can avoid specific threads that bother me, but I don't know who wants me to avoid their threads because I do or will bother them.

Re: Angry and alone

My misunderstanding. @TheVorticon. Has anyone said not to post on their thread? Or are you feeling like you are getting the cold shoulder from a member here?
I think it's perfectly fine to post on other threads. I do it all the time.
What's for dinner tonight? My son cooked himself a steak. Burnt the pan & didn't cook for me. So I think I'll have some chicken breast and mashed potatoes. Since being pregnant with my son - I love potatoes. Doesn't matter how they are cooked.

Re: Angry and alone

No to either of those questions. But I'm sitting here having graphic anger/adrenaline fuelled thoughts about emotionally and/or physically hurting someone. They may be fictional scenarios involving people who don't exist, fictional scenarios involving people who do exist, fictional scenarios involving me - it doesn't matter. I imagine myself to be the monster in the dark or even in the light. Who would want a monster lurking in the strands of their thread when they've had their fill of monsters already?

Re: Angry and alone

Well I'll chat to you @TheVorticon if you'd like? Maybe we can try and find something in common?

Are you the person who likes bike riding and pokemon. Because there are 2 things already if so?

Please also tell me if you're not in the mood for chatting!

Re: Angry and alone

@TheVorticon. I think if you don't mention your feelings of wanting to hurt someone - on most threads & just talk about other things - other interests or work or food - then that would be fine. They wouldn't know that you are feeling like a monster tonight.
Whereas if you need to talk about your anger tonight - keep talking here.
I'm here and I'm listening. @Appleblossom may also come and chat with you here tonight.
If however, you feel like a general chit chat and want to drool about food - the Friday Night Feast is the place to be.

Re: Angry and alone

Hi @TheVorticon,

Dark thoughts can be really scary. You're not a monster - I think the fact that you're concerned about how you might trigger people shows that you care about others.

How long have you felt like this?
