Safe Now
I went and saw my psychologist yesterday. We talked about some of my trauma stuff in both yesterday’s session and the session before it. Now I am here today having to reassure myself that I am safe now!

How's your sleeping been lately @Oaktree
If you take your medication at night do you still have the tiredness the next day?

@Till23
Actually I think I have been sleeping more than usual. I usually do that when I am a bit depressed.

Yeah, @Oaktree sleeping more is consistent with depression, although some people sleep less and some people sleep the same amount, but sleep at a different time of the day.
Finding it hard to get out of bed is also consistent with depression, but can occur in anxiety. The difference is usually the reason you find it hard to get out of bed.
Does your GP prescribe your anxiety medication?
Woah I just read on a different thread you went to TAFE today and submitted an assessment - that is epic @Oaktree when you are not feeling yourself.
Wow that deserves some serious self care activity - what do you like to do to treat yourself?

Thanks @tyme trying to get through some house and yard work today which has started out ok, but heat may thwart me!
Thinking of you as well, you are very busy today on the forums I hope you take some time for yourself

I'm maintaining my balance @Till23 . I've been for a few walks with the dog and kids this morning already. I've had brekkie and lunch. And I've written a list of things for the kids to tidy up - because their house looks like a tornado has ripped through. I have to write each of their names and the 'jobs' they are responsible for... don't know where the little one is though (hrmm... maybe because she can't read yet) lol.
Besides that, I'm here - and glad to be.

I’m grateful you reached out @Oaktree
Sometimes a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, is all we need to help us sort through things ourselves.
Sometimes a supportive word can crystallise our own thoughts into a plan for going forward.

I have been having disturbing dreams related to abuse. Things that have never happened. I hope that these dreams go away because they are quite distressing.
