I do work @Former-Member I am a teacher. I have a grade 1/2 class and they are adorable. I love my job but it gets very tiring. I am constantly battling physical issues as well as keeping on top on my mental health so it is a very big balancing act. My Principal and senior staff are very supportive though so it does make it easier.

It really is a constant juggle to stay on top of it all @Former-Member but I have a great team around me so I am well supported.
Have done a little more painting and am about to roll the rest now. Should only take about 20 minutes then I will be done for this evening.

Good for you re : painting and work. I'm sure it is a juggle, teaching is a pretty serious profession.
My background is social work but have been unwell recently and will have to build up to professional work

Both our professions are intense in parts @Former-Member so I fully understand you needing to build up to work again. I had just over 2 years off and then another year part-time working my way back. I left the school I was at for over 15 years - it was a toxic environment (long story I won't go into) but it was the best move I could have made as I landed at my current school. It is closer to home and such a nice place to work so I am very fortunate.
Do you have a plan on how to work your way back or is it too far in the future just yet?

Thanks for sharing your journey.
I think I may need to volunteer or do some post graduate study.

Both are worthwhile options @Former-Member I suppose it comes down to what you can handle for now ...maybe volunteer work to start with, working your way up to study again. I have goal of more study but I need to save for it first as I would need to drop back to part-time again and it just is not affordable at present. I am slowly getting on top of finances but it has taken 3 years after returning to work. I have been living pay to pay for most of that time but now starting to have a little in reserve.

Ceiling done and all cleaned up - the clean up takes just as long as the painting lol
I will paint the trims tomorrow when there is natural light - not sure if I have any spots still to sand... and it is getting late so enough for today @Former-Member

Have put the shower curtain back up too @Former-Member - that was a casualty of the naughty flying ladder lol I had to bend the rail back into a straight line but all good now and I don't need to buy a new rail. I would actually love to have a shower but can't until tomorrow so the paint has time to dry properly.
Any plans for tomorrow Hon?
