Hi again @Former-Member Been to the vet. Clover still has some redness in her mouth but we are going to treat it for the meantime with teeth cleaning wipes. I will have to do it once a day but it will be worth it if it helps. It seems if she does have an allergy then it is minor at the moment and it is certainly not causing her any issues - especially with eating - so we may have dodged a more radical treatment ie. all her teeth out.

Had a few drops of rain whilst I was driving but nothing since so back to digging for a little while for me this afternoon 👍

Wipes sound a lot more pleasant and easier than tooth removal.

Certainly would make eating difficult.

You sound like a hard worker, with some terrific plumbing skills.

We had a lot of rain where I am, but made it to the pool which was great. It's a great complex.

Good morning @Former-Member Need to paint my bathroom ceiling today - it is all taped up ready to go but I was too tired last night so left it until today. Then some more digging (if I am up to it - a bit achy from yesterday so the painting might be it for today). Do you have any plans?

Sorry got caught up in commitments.

First plan was to get out of bed and go swimming.

Next was to do some shopping and 3 rd to catch up with my Mum.

Just getting booster and flu vaccination now.

I have had a disagreement with my ladder - I wanted to stay on it and it did not want me to ...ladder won lol A bit bruised and sore but otherwise both myself and ladder okay. Paint though came off worst - paint everywhere but the silver lining is the bathroom floor has never been so clean 🤣 Probably no digging today though. It is already starting to get colder and I think the couch is the best place for me for the rest of the day.

May I ask r U in Victoria? I am and it has been brutally and bitterly cold.

I'm pretty depressed ATM and desperate for paid work so I am finding keeping busy is helping. The power of distraction.

I really am okay @Former-Member I was very lucky - just a couple of bruises. I think the ladder got the worst of it lol

Have slept the last couple of hours after having an early dinner (very late lunch). I am still very tired so it may be an early night for me. I am going to try to do the second coat on the ceiling first but will see how I feel in an hour or so.

I am in Tassie and it has been pretty cold here too - not as cold as it can be but still inside weather for me. The nights are definitely cold at the moment but I have the heater on 24/7 so it is quite pleasant inside.

I hear you with keeping busy. I know paid work is the goal but volunteering is also a great option to help with keeping busy until you find something. I hope you do find work soon - it is not easy in the jobs market but that also depends on what kind of work you are looking for - some areas need employees desperately so I wish you luck in your search.

My fur babies have both been keeping me company on the couch - they have both been fed now also so Clover is outside doing her usual 'chasing bugs' and Toby is back on the couch asleep ...the life of our four legged friends 🐶😺💕

@Zoe7 pleased you are really ok and not just being brave. Poor ladder.

Do you work ? You sound so busy anyways..

Can't imagine how cold you have been in Tassie.
