Moving forward

Moving forward

As Monday looms I have been trying to work out how to move forward. Today I started collecting things for my coping box (thanks @Crazy_Bug_Lady). I bought some of my fave chocolates to put in and have been gathering bits and pieces. Happy for any other suggestions as to what to put in. I think I may need one for the car too. I'm thinking I may copy some pieces of wisdom from this forum and print them up to add in.

I'm hoping that I get to write more on this thread than the struggle thread as time goes by. Please feel free to add how you are moving forward as well. 💜😊

Re: Moving forward

Hi @Former-Member

How are you babe???

I was feeling better this morning after a better nite sleep. I actually wanted to get moving this morning. But by this afternoon not so good I actually thinking of going away for week from next Thursday just to unwind and absolutely do nothing for a week and just swim and sunbake and drink cocktails and have fun. I think that should be my next prescription.

Re: Moving forward

Cheers @Faith-and-Hope. I think you won't know yourself when all this is over. I'm so glad you have the holiday planned.

The funny thing is when things started to go right for me I collapsed. Last week I got a new toilet, oven, my heater fixed and the kids moved out into their new room. It's funny cos I was angry at myself for not feeling good about the good things happening.

Take is easy, the end of all the big things is near and then you can breathe again. Sending de-stressing hugs and well wishes 💜😊🤗💐

Renovation is a huge strain may have been the last straw ... . Glad things are settling.

I am ok. Music, garden, my son writing etc.

Cleaned the inside of my car today... but still proud of the muddy exterior ... looks like I've been bush.

Re: Moving forward

Hi @Former-Member,

That holiday sounds fabulous. I think it would be a great idea. I'm sure it would help you sleep too.

I'm feeling a bit better tonight. This afternoon I met a friend for coffee and bought a pair of shoes using my flybuy rewards which was good as retail therapy but without spending money. Tomorrow my phams worker comes which will be good. I have a friends 50th I'd like to go to on Saturday but I'm a bit unsure about if I'll go (people overload and I feel the expectations to be the person I used to be). Have you much going on coming up?

@Appleblossom

Love the look of a muddy exterior

That just reminded me of my niece and what she said to me- I had driven from Cooly to Newcastle and I told my niece I had to wash the car and I couln't believe what she said- you been bush bashing in poppy's car. Just sounded so funny and cute coming from a baby. I gave her a sponge and she cleaned the number plate.

Enjoy all the good things in your life @Appleblossom

Re: Moving forward

Made me laugh about the car @Appleblossom. I always think mine looks like I live in the bush. I have a friend who lives on a dirt road and every time I visit her it looks like I've been 4wd in the bush. I'm glad your life seems on a bit of an even keel for now. 💜😊🤗💐 .......🚗

Re: Moving forward

I think it will help too @Former-Member.

I am glad you are feeling better and you had some time with a friend and got some new shoes for you. What time is the phams worker coming tomorrow?

You do what is best for you re friends 50th you could go and just stay for an hour or so but if you think its too much I would probably decline - I understand were you are coming from.

I have nothing really planned tomorrow it all depends on how I sleep and of course the weather which is a bit unpredictable atm. I was bit upset this afternoon about my blood test results and my very low hormones due to my POF and also now having possible problem with thyroid. The combination of thyroid problem and hormone problem just compounds the problem but I have always just bounce things off and got on with things. I spoke to my IVF specialist this afternoon and he told me he would sort it out for me and that he sees potientials in me.

When is your birthday @Former-Member ????

Re: Moving forward

Hi @Former-Member
So pleased to hear that you're starting to improve.
The job is going well. I'm on days off as a part of the work schedule and go back on Tuesday.
I slept really well last night and I've had a very lazy and relaxing day. I'm heading off to bed shortly.
Take your time and resume your usual activities when and only when you are ready.
Thinking of you 💕 🎶
