My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

ah yes, recovering ok @Snowie ?

ive been out most of the day, went had my bloods done and then wandered around the shops. feel like i need to be out of the house at the moment, avoid tension at home. i caught up with a friend for a drink, which was nice. then took my daughter for a milkshake to celebrate her first week of school. im really tired now.

Going ok hun, just my short term memory isn't going great but I know that is a side effect to ect.

Sorry to hear there is tension at home @Bow Hoping things settle down for you a bit over the weekend.

So exciting that your daughter finished her first week of school. Is she enjoying it? A treat after school sounds like such a great idea.

im hoping so too @Snowie

yes she is enjoying school. although tells me every afternoon at pick up that she is a bit sad cause she misses me. shes been trying to talk me into picking her up earlier so we can go out together. will take her some time to get use to school being 5 days a week 9-3.

My memory does settle down between sessions @Bow but sometimes it takes awhile. It just depends on the week I have had.

I'm glad your daughter is liking school. Yes it does take them awhile to get used to the times, but I'm sure she will soon.

That is lovely however that she wants to be picked up early so she can spend more time with you. Sounds like you two have a really close and loving relationship.

i hope it settles down for you quickly @Snowie

its been the 2 of us for a long time and i only put her in preschool 1 day a week for the second half of last year, so she has very much been by my side all the time.
