Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

No real plans @Bow

Probably just some food shopping, washing, cleaning, ferrying D from work and back. All the fun things 🤔🤔

Keep pushing through dear @Bow

There will come the day that you awaken and rejoice the fact that you're alive. Better times are ahead. Your efforts to endure will be rewarded.

Love you

Re: My Mosaic

I thought I would do some self care today, treat myself to a visit to the hair dressers, after all I haven't had a hair cut in over a year- I don't count the cut I gave myself last March when covid hit and I couldn't get to the hair dressers. A fresh colour and a trim. I don't even know why but sitting in some intense anxiety and watching the timer til I can leave. I'm trying to just enjoy myself and breath.

Re: My Mosaic

I really hope you enjoy your hairdresser appt today @Bow

I can relate to feeling anxious during the time spent at the hairdresser. In late May last year, in between lockdowns in Vic, I got a cut, color and blow wave - and I think I was there for almost 4 hours. I was losing my shit in the last hour and just wanted to escape. I think the salon thought they were doing me a favour by overcompensating, but it was the complete opposite.

Please, please try to enjoy the experience - you deserve being pampered. Plus, you'll walk out looking and feeling more gorgeous than you already are.

Re: My Mosaic

thank you @WIP .. and @Emelia8 i was there for nearly 4 hrs, way longer than i had anticipated, but i got through it. nothing like what i had asked for, but i still do like it. i think the hairdresser didnt want me to lose my natural red hair or do anything too big of a change, anyways fresh hair feels nice.

i then went and bought some new clothes, alot of my clothes are falling off me

Re: My Mosaic

Captive, longing for liberty

Prisoner of the mind

A rage inside, waiting to explode

The battles in the mind

It can be as calm as the sea

And at the most unexpected time...

Furious as can be.

Not knowing when to expect it

... the mind just clicks...

.... and BANG!

Its explodes into an uncontrollable rage

I embrace myself for a fit of fighting

Of anger and frustration

Battling to stay safe

To stay alive

The mind just rages violently out of control

Longing to vent and let it bubble out

But I don't dare voice my inner fight

its my mind battle and mine alone

I bare it and wait....

.... wait impatiently for the calm.
