Sitting with you @Bow I had trouble finding a psychologist and then when I found one I liked the practise he was at closed down and I went into a spin. He moved to a new practice and he wasn’t with phn so I said I’d pay but he’s doing it on the Medicare mental health plan so it eventually worked out.

Anyway, I’m here with you too. 💖🦋💖

you have been under the phn @Eve7 ? how does it work, ive never heard of it before..

It’s the Primary Health Network ser up for coordination of care but my GP did it for me originally with my Psychologist and I think I had 10 “free” visits but he changed to a practice not aligned so I now have the mental health care plan through Medicare which gives me 20 visits this year.

It’s on the Health Dept website but ask your GP about it.

comm mh said to get a pdoc referral through the PHN and my psych is talking about long term intensive psych care. not sure there sounds to be much difference from mental health care plan?

I couldn’t see any difference either @Bow mention It to your GP and she might know more.

My grandson started school too and he’s exhausted every night. He’s not keen to go every day either.

just seems like more annoying paperwork for my gp ...

daughter was up early again today... earlier than I was really ready to get up, feeling tired this morning. But she is ready and waiting to go now. Year 6 kids are meeting them at the gate this morning to walk them to where they need to go. So sad that covid is impacting our start to school life and that I can't go in with her at all.

I have an appointment with my gp this morning, hoping to work out some kind of plan so I can feel a little more at ease with things, although don't anticipate that really occurring until my gp has her report from my psych next week.
