My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks so much for you advice @tyme @Bow @Snowie. I appreciate it.

I just had a session with the counsellor and she suggested to look forward to my break away first and the med changes. Hopefully that helps sort me out and then worry about hospital. It was good advice. Instead of letting the thought of hospital consume me.

Re: My Mosaic

That sounds like really effective and sound advice @Captain24 . In a way, the thought of hospital can bring up even more stress!

So yes, now, it's about looking forward to quality time away 🙂

I’m just so over being so tired!

not sure when I am due to see the pdoc again, but I hope I have the courage to ask for my meds to be increased or something.

Re: My Mosaic

I’m yet to have the second psychiatric sign off on my ECT. Which I am finding very frustrating. As much as I am freaking out and am super anxious about ECT, I just want to get it started. I’ve been in hospital nearly 2 weeks now.

I had some doctor come and do more ECT prep with me. More memory questions. They were heaps harder and I was anxious about it. Like remembering 5 random words after 5 minutes and a heap of other questions. But I did heaps well…. I was surprised.

I cut groups short this morning. Wasn’t really coping well, and even after some prn, I needed out. I did some painting this afternoon and just been laying on my mat. Oh and my daughter had her school cross country today and I got the best photo after school…. Her with her third place ribbon and certificate! Super proud of her! I loved cross country in high school and always placed third.

Re: My Mosaic

I’m sorry you are finding it difficult @Bow. I hope you get the second review soon.

That’s great about D third is awesome and third has such a special meaning to you. I used to deliberately come a very slow last! 😆

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow, I hope you don’t have to wait much longer for ECT. It’s okay if you needed to cut the group short, take it easy and be kind to yourself. Your daughter sounds adorable, third place is an achievement!

Re: My Mosaic

Thats a shame about the ECT pdoc @Bow I really hope it is sorted out soon. The quicker you start the quicker you can finish.

Well done for you daughter hon, she must have been so excited.

Thanks @Captain24 @creative_writer

@Captain24i loved cross country in high school. We ran through the bush, if it was wet, we got muddy, it was awesome. I always ended up going to regional cross country and on a couple of occasions went to state. I enjoyed athletics too. But was terrible at swimming!

Re: My Mosaic

I’m old school too @Bow.. Our cross country was in the bush too. At the schools here they run around the back oval and call it cross country.

You must have been really good at it. I hated anything athletic. But put me in a pool and I would place in everything I went in. I went to regionals but never to state.
