It is a shame you can't drive @Bow but it would be good if you could use an uber. At least you would be able to book in advance.

When I am in hospital I used to walk to 7-11 every morning and grab a coffee. Was nice just to get out and get some fresh air. I've only ever been admitted to the one hospital which just deals with mental health patients. They run sessions during the day that you can go to also. They have a day program too that I have done. It is where I get ECT done as well.

I hope this private hospital works out to be better than the one you are in at the moment. Hopefully it is a step in the right direction.

The afternoon nurse just stuck his head in my room to see how I was. I told him I was waiting for the transfer to the private hospital. He informed me that if it’s not been approved by now then it’s too late now and that id be here until Monday now 😩 I’m annoyed. And my anxiety is still really bothering me. Pdoc yesterday said it could take up to a day. Sigh

Just asked the psych registrar for some leave over the weekend. Daughter is at her fathers all day tomorrow, so hopefully I can go home for the day on Sunday. I did ask for the whole weekend, and she was kinda saying maybe, but a bit hesitant and then said that she could guarantee my bed would still be here when I got back on Sunday, which is stupid. But I have to have someone come pick me up, so mum said she would pop off quickly to come get me on Sunday. Fingers crossed it gets approved.

Just too followup, it looks like the chat will be temporarily unavailable for a couple of weeks @Bow, and anyone else curious about that chat option.

@Bow thanks for the update. That sucks about not going to the other hospital until next week. I really hope you are able to have leave on Sunday so you get to see your daughter. I'm sure she would love that too.

I got 7hrs leave approved for the weekend. I’ll take it on Sunday when my daughter is at home. Just have to get through tomorrow. And then wait for the message from my ex stating that my D daughter him that I am in hospital 😩 I hate this. I wish my life was more private from him. She can tell him anything and everything yet I know know about him.

It is hard when others find out we have been admitted to hospital. It must be extra hard when it is your ex. I hope your daughter does not tell him too much.

Thanks @Snowie It’s really playing on my mind… him finding out I’m in hospital. I of course will not tell him the real reason. I usually just tell him it’s something to do with my stomach. I hate lying but there is no way in h*ll I’m telling him any ounce of the truth. Just not sure how well that’s going to go when I am stuck in here for a lengthy period having ECT??? It sucks

my ipad has died for the night and my phone is not far behind it. Have to hand them in at 9pm anyways. Gonna crawl into bed and read some of my book. Im reading the Grace Tame book, have you heard of her?? It’s not what I expected but it’s still a good read.
