That’s helpful to know about the Butterfly Foundation. I’m glad that you should get to see your SW again tomorrow. Good plan to make the appointment for a day when she’s around 😊

My day has been kind of ok. Didn’t get enough sleep last night. Have a lot that I’m trying to process/regulate around but also trying to function. Lack of sleep affects both. I was expecting it to be worse though, so it’s nice that it’s not as bad as it could have been.

I hope your visit is a quick and stress free one then @Snowie you certainly don’t need any added pressure at the moment. I hope the things going on today weren’t related to your mum?

2 days of dancing?! That’s alot! My D has been getting into dance. I had a look on her iPad the other day and found some videos she had taken of herself dancing. She was horrified when I told her I watched them! 😂

not much on for me. SW tomorrow probably. And will try and get out with D over the weekend and do something.

I was told that a dear old lady from my church passed away in the early hours of this morning. Had know her for a long time and she was so beautiful. Her husband passed a few years ago and we all thought that she would follow him very quickly but she last a few years more. She was 94 and they were married for nearly 70 yrs. I thought about going to church, but probably not.

Lack of sleep is most definitely the pits @Wintersweet makes dealing with already difficult things 10x worse. I often struggle to get words out when I’m really tired. Like the pathway from brain to mouth is broke.

hope you get a much better night sleep tonight. Do you have anything planned for the weekend?

thought of you when I was doing my groceries the other day and seen marshmallows were 1/2hr price. D spotted them in the cupboard today and got excited by the thought of a campfire!🔥

@Wintersweet lack of sleep can really affect our MH. It's not easy running on fumes.

@Bow D loves her dancing. I try and go to it as much as I can. At least when sitting in the audience you have to be quiet!!

Sorry to hear about the lady from your church. That's a long life.

Oops, just realised I wrote my earlier reply without seeing your follow up message about having to see your mum tomorrow and D having dance both days. Hope it all goes as painlessly as possible and that seeing the dance stuff is nice even if socialising with the other parents is an effort.

Sorry to hear about the lady from church passing. 94 years is impressive but it’s still sad when it’s someone we’ve known and appreciated for a long time.

You’re absolutely right about the lack of sleep and words thing and how it feels like a broken pathway. Thank you both for your empathy about managing MH struggles with poor sleep. Hope you’re both able to get some good sleep tonight 💛

oh I might have to see if I can find a copy of her book. I’ve watched the whole series and don’t know what it is about it, but keep thinking about watching it again.
