My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

You might be asleep by now (hoping you are) but I wanted to reply anyway so you knew you’d been heard. Trying to argue with the thoughts is exhausting, and the internal noise can be overwhelming. Experiencing that is a lot to be managing.

I’m sorry today is feeling so overwhelming. It’s ok to not have many words. Hoping you’re able to find things that help ground/soothe/distract yourself as needed. I know it can be hard to think of those things when we’re in overwhelm though 💛

i cleaned up downstairs a bit. Need a new project to work on but don’t know what to do. Ended up doing some watercolor painting but hated how it turned out.

realising that I’m starting to not feel so good physically. I know I probably need to go get my bloods done but there is that internal conflict inside screaming not to.

im just struggling. Mostly ED stuff. My SW came today, she’s been good about checking in with me around my intake and she asked what usually helps to shift things back the other way. But nothing really does, I tend to just stay on this projectory until I crash and become very unwell. Haven’t been this bad for ages.

I'm glad your SW has been checking in on you hon. She sounds like she is genuinely concerned about you. Do you see your dietitian anytime soon?

Have you been up to much today? I've mostly had a couch day with some washing thrown in. I don't wash for two days and it gets piled up.

Went to put the bins out before and a huge spider was in one. Scared the sh*t out of me!!
