Something’s not right

Darkness

Darkness

Well it's been a hellish few weeks, I have fallen into the rabbit hole and there seems no escape this time. The darkness has come and it thicker than the fires of hell.

Things just don't seem to going right at all and my MH is just getting worse and worse. Not sleeping (afraid to sleep) not eating and not taking my meds. I know this doesn't help but why bother because when I am on them I either feel zone out or that they do nothing anyways. I didn't make it work today, got to the front and was physically sick and froze again. Crawled back into bed where I stayed untill I had an unexpected call.

My 3 main MH professional and I in a conference call, at the end of the call I was given a choice be sectioned or have my ex move back in temporarily to provide around the clock monitoring, this means for at least two weeks of him being here making sure I eat, take my meds and be present for all appointments and no SH. I am not happy about either option but because of teenager trauma in a MH hospital I am taking the ex.

I will not be as active as normal but I will check in. but like tonight, I may just support posts as I am struggling to even type this. So @Snowie @eth @Lee82 @Eden1919 @Purplerain @Lotusgirl amd anyone I missed I will be getting the care I need and will be safe. To some of the newest forum members please forgive me if it takes a bit for me to get back to you.

Re: Darkness

I think those are all valid stressors @Lee82 It is a lot to take in and deal with. Holidays can often be mre stressful than staying home but maybe seeing the excitement on your kids faces will help when you get there. I have always liked to travel - and mostly on my own - but won't leave my fur babies now. I want to take a short trip to the west coast of Tassie - it is so beautiful - I could take Tobes as well as there are a lot of pet friendly accommodation places there but with Cat still having her treatment I can't leave her with my sister - she would never be able to give her tablets to her.

Re: Darkness

Tassie is beautiful hun. I have been there a couple times but I can understand that you can't leave Cat right now. She needs her mum.
I use to love travelling but these days I just freak out too much. Last time I flew I had a massive panic attack on the plane. It was totally and utterly embarrassing and scary but there was 2 lovely ladies sitting behind me that helped me calm down and comforted me.
The boys are super super excited. They cannot wait to go on all the rides at the theme parks. Lol.

I got to make this super special to make up for going into hospital in March. I still haven't told them about it yet either. Just don't know how they are going to react.

Re: Darkness

Kids are super resilient @Lee82 and often understand more when they know what is happening. This trip will be lovely for them but it is not about making up for anything in the future - treat it as what it is - a chance for you all to be together, enoy each other's company and have some fun. The future will take care of itself when it gets here Hon

Re: Darkness

You are so right hun but I can't help but feel so guilty about going in hospital. I will try and have a good time as best I can and make it a wonderful holiday for the boys. They have been through so very much this past year they deserve it.

Re: Darkness

You have been through so much too Hon and also deserve it @Lee82 You can make it all about your boys but also allow yourself some of that joy ...even fleeting moments in each day do matter
