Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

I don't say all that lightly though Hon - your strength in reaching out shows me you got this. It is not an easy or short road but the first step is the hardest ...and you have taken that step

So pleased to hear you are good tonight @Pollyotter I would say take it easy but I have been going all day so I need to take my own advice I have been painting my loungeroom. I have nearly finished the first coat on the walls then need to do the ceiling. It will all need 2 more coats though as it is a very light cream I am using.
