Numb again

Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Been raining nearly all day here today and cold too @Lee82 I am not a fan of the cold weather either but my house keeps the warmth in really well.

What a bugger about your trip - stupid Covid-19 Are you going to reschedule for a later date - when of course we can all travel again.

I grew up watching them and I love the suddle comedy and puns in the show. I play it in the background and try to analyse it to get my mind on the right track.

It's happening again it feels like . I don't know if I should let the thing play out or if I can fight it .if I fight then I will have my body in pain. If I don't fight then my mind will be in more pain for a while .

If this year shows us anything @Lee82 it is to take those opportunities when you can. Your 7 year old will survive missing some school - they adapt and pick things up quickly at that age. That is the age I am teaching now
