Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Calming breaths @Pollyotter @try and think of what you have to do tomorrow. Recite the list in your head or try and concentrate on the Gilmore girls. Really listen to what they are saying.

Toby and Cat are well @Pollyotter Tobes desperately needs a bath but it was too cold for that today. I wash him inside and he usually rolls around on the towel to dry himself but the warmer it is the quicker he dries.

I saw you are watching the Gilmore Girls. Have you got Wormy with you too?

Oh Year 7's. For some reason I thought you were teaching primary school level. Mmm not sure how I came to that conclusion...lol

you are so right @Zoe7 and he is pretty bright. ( not just saying that cause I am his mum by the way...lol)

most likely my 8 year will struggle more as he already struggles with school infact I have appointments for him to be tested as since he has been doing school from home I have noticed just how behind he is...I was shocked. Grade 3 and he struggles to even add two simple numbers together. His processing skills just doesn't seem to be there. He cannot follow instructions and get very confused.
now having written all that I think I may have already mentioned this all to you....sorry if I have it's just playing on mind a lot.

Wormy ,she is drying off. She decided to jump into the mixture for vetkoek( it's the base for doughnut but South African style) so the lady had a bath . As much as I love a good vetkoek . Not in my stuffed stuff
