how is your back feeling?

My back is a lot better today - still sore but much more comfortable @Lee82 I was on class yesterday so not as much sitting. We had a really lovely day with the kids and then found out after school that all our kids will be returning to school in 2 weeks - that really made my day.

Do yours return then as well?

I'm not sure what state you are in but here in Victoria we don't have a clear idea yet. Will know more maybe Monday. if they do go back to school I think it is going to be in stages.

I'm in Tassie @Lee82 Our kinder-6 and years 11 and 12 go back in 2 weeks then the 7-10s in 4 weeks.

We have had too many new cases so I think we will be in lockdown for a while yet. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

@Zoe7 and then again I think they are going to start with the higher grades 12-11 and 6-5 then the rest. And starting off slowly like maybe 2 days a week at school and alternate grades

That is going to be confusing for everyone @Lee82 It is times like these I am so glad I live on an island - cutting off you mainlanders has helped us lol

Lol... where I live is country and we have zero cases so I am pretty safe. It is quite a small town but I believe the city is where they have been identified.

For the most part it is a little slice of paradise here in Tassie @Lee82 I have a beautiful dog beach less than 20 minutes away, the city really close and all the services I need within 30 minutes of me in all directions - so love where I live. I spent a little time in Sydney but came home after Port Arthur happened - too many connections and friends involved in some way so felt I needed to be 'home'. Booked my ticket back the next day and left within the week. I have often thought about moving back to Sydney but I am happy in my home and being back at work has been more than I had hoped for (or believed was possible).

It is a little paradise island. Of course when I went we did all the touristy type stuff but the scenery is beautiful.
Sydney a nice too but I hated driving there was confusing and annoying...lol my uncle lives in Sydney and so we use to go up there a lot.
how the weather there at the moment? It's bloody freezing here 🥶🥶 I hate the cold so so much. My background is Maltese and I lived there for 3 years from the age of 10-13. I actually had a trip of a lifetime booked to go back there with a few family members in August of this year but obviously that is now cancelled. I have an uncle there too and 2 cousins whom I grew up with. I haven't seen them since I was 18 so nearly 20 years...
