Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

I am frozen on my bed. I have the window open and feel the cold comming in but I can't get myself to move or do something . What are you doing to keep your sanity

Maybe cuddling under a warm blanket comforting yourself would help a little better @Pollyotter perhaps some music might help as well.

I am under my covers at the moment trying to contain my feelings.

No it doesn't sound strange at all. I have those moments too and all you can do is try and ride it out. I totally understand @Pollyotter is there anything you can focus on in the room. Maybe anything you can count?

I can only see my phone the rest is dark. I really want to put the tv on to break the silence the dark and silence freaks me out

Can you watch something on your phone or at least listen to some music on it? Remember your breathing too @Pollyotter deep breaths. Concentrate on that
