Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

I am trying to get my mind calm over this and remind myself how this isn't going to be the same. Alas I am in tears and trying to regulate breathing .

As for the list

I have a list it's from oldest to the youngest and reading this I sound like a nut bag but mhe

Hey there guys . Hope you are doing well.
So I had my first meeting with the head healer . She was very lovely said some nice things that I have to learn to accept and sat thank you for . Maybe this time counseling will be different .
Lee I hope you got some rest in.
I have a huge headache today but oh well.

I have two backpackers helping me out today as they needed an income and I need to do something other then work. They have good spirit and loud Latina music . I let the music play as it keeps them working I see.

Any who I hope you guys are well. Let me get back to the clean .

It sounds like the appointment went really well @Pollyotter I can hear some of that relief in what you wrote - love the 'head healer' part - that made me giggle

@Lee82 A very long day today and happy to be home. I did manage to get through all the messages, emails and post from the kids and their parents so tomorrow I only have to read and reply to ones that come in tonight and tomorrow - that should be much easier to do.

A little more work to do tonight, some housework and then rest time - and most likely an early night if I get it all done quickly.

How are you both tonight?

@Zoe7 wow seems like last night was very productive and that you had a pretty full on day today. Hope you have finished for the day and can have a relaxing night.
