Numb again

One of my places to connect with for me has been the forum @Pollyotter It has been an integral part in helping me cope and get through - so it is wonderful that you now have us here too.

Yes you definitely need a new GP and then hopefully someone you can see to help you work through things. It is certainly not easy having to go it alone but I personally think you are doing an amazing job. You have been through so much but still you manage to get to work each day and more importsntly get through each day. Some days are just horrible but you are still doing it - so give yourself so much credit for that. 😁👍

I undrestand that @Pollyotter - I am the same. Whenever my GP refers me somewhere she requests a female if possible also. Unfortunately there have been a few times that was not possible and of course it caused major anxiety for me.

@Pollyotter I am going to have to get some sleep Hon. Will you be okay on your own? Can you curl up in your corner and try to drift off to sleep yourself?

I hope you can get some rest/sleep as well @Pollyotter I'll check in with you tomorrow.

Hi @Pollyotter I have painted one coat on the ceiling but the issue I had with bubbling in one spot I have come across again today. It is only a small spot but will need to be sanded and plastered before I can paint over it again. It is annoying but has to be done. This will put me back another day - thank goodness I have another week of holidays before going back to work.

How are you today? Did you manage some sleep?

So sorry you didn't sleep @Pollyotter That makes it hard to get through the day. Hopefully you will crash out this afternoon and catch up on some sleep.

I am okay - slept for a few hours then fed my fur babies and dozed on and off for another couple of hours. The bubble is annoying as I thought I had covered all the underneath oil painted area - but I'll sand and patch this one in a couple of hours when the paint is dry, wait for the plaster to dry and then paint one coat over it again later tonight. Then do the entire ceiling again tomorrow. I still have another coat to do on the walls also but need a break after doing the ceiling (my arms are tired and sore).

I might do some cooking this afternoon - want to cook a zucchini slice and some osso bucco but forgot the celery so will need to go to the supermarket. If I cannot be botheredd today I will cook the osso bucco tomorrow ...going to do it in the slow cooker so that will be a morning job then I can have it for dinner tomorrow night.
