Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

That is a bugger about your car @Pollyotter and it would have been scary breaking down on the highway I think it is wonderful what you are doing for that young lady. Unfortunately it often takes time and for things to actually go horribly wrong before some people can face the situation they are in - so for you to be doing this I hope it changes this young woman's life for the better before that happens. Yes not bad @Pollyotter Had a headache this morning but have been to the supermarket, taken meds and had some fresh air and feeling a little better. Going to take it pretty easy for the rest of today with a little sorting out of school work bit by bit then get stuck into it all again tomorrow. I hope you have an easy afternoon too Hon 💖💖💖

Hey @Pollyotter Sometimes keeping busy and then being able to sleep as soon as we het home gets us through. Hoping you have some time to yourself in there too.

I am okay - very tired but getting through my work slowly but getting there.
