Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

I have spent the weekend at mums cause my boys are with their dad so I am not on my own for safety reasons. Just trying to ride out the effects of my meds at the moment @Pollyotter trying to stay present as much as I can. I have been walking almost everyday and doing some diamond painting for distraction.
how has work been hun?

Im glad your keeping save. Work has been interesting. I have a man who suffered DV from his wife . He is a new addition to my file . I hope I can do it all correctly and keep myself out of this case

I strongly believe by me taking little scary steps forward every day that I will learn to cope better and be a better person and that is my goal. Luckily I have a fantastic boss who is understanding and gives me what I need. except for my unicorn, I am still waiting on that. How are things on your side today.
