Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

I have not been too good @Pollyotter but hoping things will start to look up again soon.

Fur babies are good and are definitely the lights of my life lately.

What's going on in your mind right now?

taking things slowly at this time might be a good idea. re exploring things like music and what made you happy and feel something for life.

What I have done now is joined the group called Zonta. Its an international woman group who do loads of great things for a woman. It makes me feel excited to work with them.
