Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

I decided to come back. Like I said, sorry for what happened and the way I was.

I guess I'll just give anyone space from now on whether that means I do stuff off the forums or move onto another thread. I tried to do that though. I also left because it was getting dark and triggering for me on the other thread. I was just trying to help and be supportive.

Does anyone like talking to me and appreciate me trying to support people (I know I'm not good but I try)? Just curious, not being rude.

@Lee82 @Pollyotter well thanks, I appreciate that and it means a lot. I'm sorry for misinterpreting everything and if I upset anyone. But like I said I guess that's over now.

The same goes to both of you and others here. I guess I'll stick around even if I take breaks for a couple of hours or whatever.

I have some things to do today anyway so I'll come back later
