I can't seem to shake the anxiety I have had all day today. I feel like I am 1 step away from going crazy. I have been trying to ignore it all day and it's exhausting. I feel sick and irritable. I am so tired of feeling this way. I have had enough of it all. Why is it that we have to suffer in silence and deal with all this sh** every single day and the people who made us this way are living a wonderful happy carefree life? Why do I have to accept that this is just the way it will be from now on? I don't want to accept it. I don't want to have to deal with living with PTSD and depression and anxiety and everything else that comes with it.
Thank you so much for those ideas @oceangirl. I have tried a few of those in the past like colouring however there are a few I haven't tried and Will definitely give them a try. how was your day?

Re: Scared and alone
thanks @Lee82 you saved me the boredom of watching it! ill find something else to watch instead.
im glad you've got good supports, I wonder if you could see about getting your mental health care plan renewed for an extra few sessions. they can sometimes give you an extra 6 ontop of the 10, might be worth enquiring about? There are sometimes counsellors you can see for free in some womens health clinics. it might be a little difficult atm as a lot of places have shut or doing limited services till the virus clears off.
you don't have to have a specific diagnosis to chat about dissociation but it it quite common for those who have ptsd and also BPD as well. maybe you could do some research as a distraction and see if it relates to you, theres often info on how to help manage it

Re: Scared and alone
Your welcome @Lee82 . Hope it helps a little. I'm starting to feel a bit better today, my energy levels are still pretty low though. My day was good, I was quite busy too.

@oceangirl those are really great strategies you should put them onto the 'got a good coping strategy-share it here' thread I bet others would find them helpful too

Re: Scared and alone
Your welcome @outlander. May I suggest the movie secret life of pets or sing if you haven't already seen them.
I do always get the extra sessions through my mental health plan however finding the $140 upfront before the rebate can be a struggle.
I will definitely look up disassociation tonight as a distraction as well as some knowledge. Thanks for the idea @outlander

Re: Scared and alone
Great to hear you had a good day @oceangirl. I can completely relate to having low energy levels. It's tough to get anything done but after I have pushed myself through the tiredness and completed something I feel so much for it.

Re: Scared and alone
ive seen them both @Lee82 is part 2 of secret life of pets any good before I buy it?ive been meaning to watch it but my sisters and I aren't usually indoorsy sort of people so haven't gotten around to it. plenty of time now so on the hunt for some movies to watch (also ones that aren't for kids are appreciated too 😏)
I wonder if you could ask if they are able to allow you to pay the gap fee instead? some places don't always offer it until you ask..

Re: Scared and alone
Secret life of pets 2 I haven't seen but my kids have and they hated it. The movie Khumba is a good pick. I am a marvel buff so I like all the marvel movies. Aquaman is a good one and black panther as well as the avengers infinity war and avengers endgame. That's just off the top of my head now. If I think of any I'll let you know. What genre do you like? I have asked about only paying the gap but they don't do that

Re: Scared and alone
oh really- sheesh they seem to only make the originals good now @Lee82 the only sequeals ive found are kung fu panda and high school musicial. that about it. I watch lots of medical and/or crime style shows like greys anatomy, criminal minds, also a huge fan of outlander as well. comedy ia a great genre and have a few tv series for that as well.

Re: Scared and alone
King fu panda sequel is good but again not as good as the original. The series The Fall I really liked. Actually I think it's a mini series. Also Breaking Bad I like too. My all time fav series is Friends.
