Made everything up?

Since my last suicide attempt I had a change in psychiatrist (due to the fact I'm in a surgical ward for 3 months, so I now see the hospitals CL) who reverted my diagnosis to BPD.
It's made me wonder if I ever was really psychotic over the years and just made everything up (to the point in believing) and my hallucinations and delusions were just fake for attention. Like someone who made stuff up to get others to think they're sicker for attention.

Anyway i kinda feel like that.

Voices told me to attempt suicide but maybe I just made that up too and I'm just a stupid pathetic person that needs to die.

@The-red-centaur that is good as long as you are a bit calmer. When is your op today? Hopefully in the morning to get it over and done with.

Glad you're calmer. Isn't it wonderful having phones to quietly get support in the middle of the night. Like having a group of visitors by your side 😁👍 so glad you buzzed the nurse 👍

@The-red-centaur I dont understand why they would take you off antipsychotics like that .... even with the changing of medications .... particularly before an operation like you are having. So they honestly think you have bpd even with all your symptoms? I would get a second opinion as soon as you can.

Yeah, my late daughter would be 22 yr old this coming Monday. The whole of November I lose emotional ankor it seems, and then all the Christmas carry-on in in my face, how can I celebrate... just numb. But I'll get there. Had a neighbour drop in today. I once told a Dr some of my 'delusions' if that is what they are and was hospitalized on an order for 3 months. They did nothing and I left worse coz they just said it was bpd issues and making the stuff up. I always get angry when BPD is thrown around now coz I feel so detached from the diagnosis.

I'm starting a new medication on Monday (going back in injections) so I'm hoping that helps.
