Re: Sleeping too much
Back from the shop - have bread, milk, butter etc. AND A BIG BOX OF MALTESERS (were half price!) Thanks @Shaz51 you gave me a craving for chocolate! LOL
@TAB had take away last night - probably won't eat much tonight - at least I have it there if I want it - Maltesers will go though. Have to fast tonight for tests in the morning so better eat them quickly!
@Former-Member Don't worry about that person at the tip. The world has gone MAD - whatever happened to one person's trash is another person's treasure - some people are just plain mean!
@Appleblossom I do believe that you have certainly caught up with your sense of humour - or maybe I'm just on your same wave-length - laughing is great therapy and you make me laugh - Thanks.
MALTESERS ANY ONE? YUM ![]()

Re: Sleeping too much
Blackdog loves these circumstances, the stupidity of it when tomorrow at 6am its all gonna get pulverised and burned. And the 'power' not tirni g a blind eye, cutting me a break break before christmas... Blackdog would love yo react badly (beating myself up with all kinds of false conclusions, scary thoughts and names), but no, I AM NOT MY THOUGHTS, I AM THE ONE WHO NOTIXES THEM" (love that quote by Echart Tolle)
as my psych says,
- say 'HOW INTERESTING' !!!
- notice how you feel
- acknowledge it
- sit with it a bit
- then I ask God (Holy Spirit) to help me with this, reveal what youre teaching me in it? Help me surrender (accept) and not react, at all, accept to learn from it.
In this case I think I went over the top, took too much (a big glass table for my nursey are out back) and maybe I just need to get rid of, not gather. lol
Hmm

Re: Sleeping too much
@Former-Member Dont let that *** get to you .. I dont collect much anymore cos my house was feeling a bit crowded .. in fact I donated my legacy of mum's old furniture to the rich family crowd .. I still have 2 computer desks to get rid .. lol ..
@Zoe7 Love a malteser ..
went on a google spin re camps ... looking at the map it was definitely in Austria so probably the same one you went to .. our bus just stopped for petrol .. it wasnt a proper sight see .. but a few of us went and paid our respects.
Then I figured out where my grandfather went .. there were 3 camps in Holland. .. it helps me forgive that part of the family's dysfunctionality .. when I remember what some of them went through ..

Re: Sleeping too much
@Former-Member Good evening buddy.
It was a vision developed from a combination of a lot of pictures and images I've seen, what I've felt and lived and a representation of the struggle to see things clearly and be free. It's not a chain but barbed wire under the butterflies. Feels like I have been walking through, jumping over and getting caught in it for so long. As I posted earler:
The colours and butterflies really represent me - feeling like I have been trapped in a cacoon for most of my life (and the world around is out of focus) and that one day I will break free and fly (even if it's only for a short time).
The words translated are "Work Will Set You Free". This slogan was posted at the entrance to Aushwitz Concentration Camp (and many others). It was thought that the B was deliberately placed upside down by the prisoners whomade it to 'stick it' to the Germans in their own small way.
I hope you don't get a fine also - that would be all you needed at this time of year - fingers crossed for you xxx

Re: Sleeping too much
A year or so before I lost my mum, she took me to an exhibition of the artwork of the children of Terezin .... a suitcase full of their work from the concentration camp was found after the war.
Has stayed with me .... so moving and powerful ....

Re: Sleeping too much
@Appleblossom Virtual Maltesers on their way.
It's the only remaining site in Austria so would have been the same one.
When you can have some knowledge of what people have gone through/ are going through it certianly does allow you to empathise with their behaviour and show some forgiveness.
