It's so similar to me, what you go through with your mum.
I feel so flat, guilty etc...... after having contact with mine.
Not worth it. One day you might be strong enough to be there for her, just like I'm hoping to be there for mine.
Try not to let it crush you.

Do yas think ma is hinting not to joke about her plight? Make light of it? Oh well, as @Faith-and-Hope, said, I'm entitled to be me now and then, certainly no malice involved. Gosh, sound like a teenager re mother ha, guess that's why we don't usually talk of it, us big girls.

Actually, my case worker, after last MH admission warned me in t to live closer, or have a OK much contact. It just feels wrong, and, well, I'm lonely.

Oh fear @Former-Member, what DOES keep us going thus far? I tell myself (on better days) that life's about discovery, gratitude and love. So on better days i try seek them out each day (feeds the soul which we take with us at the end). Gratitude in nature, my garden, the birds... (Actually the garden has all three outlets DGL). Sometimes it requires effort but other times its so natural. The last the hard living alone. Of cause theres self compassion - but I've learned that just being kind to the shop assist is a form of love. Must get out there today, buy some ice blocks for the pending heat wave, mail a get well card for my bro-3 just admitted to hospital for assessment and maybe some pick me up for mum. A book for a friend whose son had amputated arm &reattachment (accident) the book is called "the brain that changes itself" by N. Doidge oh yes, my Dr medicare cheque (thinking out loud - by thumb lol)

Have you eaten today Fadin? (cant have you fading away 🙂 I'm not hungry. But just forced in cheeze & biscuit, the & pills. Maybe it will pick me up.
