well there's the microwave back up these days lol or just do iced coffee

just plug ph into laptop with charger lead and turn hotspot on in phone setting or use wifi or bluetooth or all 3 @Former-Member

Got my own wars to attend!
I tried explain to mum that if she buys big (expensive) present my boys, it leaves little to be desired what we get them, can afford etc.
She said in reply: but I'm the grandparent so I'm allowed to spoil.
They get so much, & somehow what ever we buy is never good enough.
I try and teach my boys value of money, appreciation etc..
Then when we are there & they are being feral, it's left up to me.....no help.
I give up.
Not being heard (as trivial as it seems) when I'm already undressed pump with 3 kids gets to me!!
For you, work is good. You can do it, then chill Tab. Xmas nearly here, then we both can enjoy bevy heaven! 😉

that's not very helpful of her @Former-Member perhaps set a limit and tell her she can put in in other ways ..is she going to be there to give them stuff?if no, head it off at pass, negotiate, a bit of subterfuge maybe, or tell shes undermining you and work a way around it. Yeah, done this job before, nothing to write home about, but nothing like last one, that was one for the books, plus on nites so more money. looks like housewarming next week now. old tenant in a hurry now. gotta make sure what I asked about get done before I sign anything, see how she likes that lol

Yeh, I've tried before @TAB...it falls on deaf ears.
I realize from seeing psychologist I've lived with a lot of double standards, not being heard etc.
When I was single with my boys it was hard work.
I'd end up coping it from siblings too in small ways, when my kids being horrid, because they had just been fed ice creams etc etc, even though didn't eat dinner.
Then oh fadin you better do something.
No community help.
I've decided not to go there, I'll enjoy an extra drink if I feel like it (and probably won't be told off, as I've a partner now)..
The thing is...heh mum I am an adult now, think I can decide what I enjoy to do now!!
I love my mum, but the meeting her standards I never did.
Over it!

Um, I hope they fix the fix it's too, then your all sorted.
Would have to be a good feeling before Xmas Tab...a place to call home to crash into after family gatherings etc.
Well hope job goes quickly. I think when I used to work full time, I made small things to look forward too, or found alternative ways...like talking the other talkative types!!! 😁

well sure you'll work it out @Former-Member and same re family expectations/standards, theyve long given up, plus too worried about their own stuff. yeah dont want to carry the can so to speak re promised stuff re house, well it was getting rooftop evap aircon serviced. they offered, cos I wasnt over impressed with it, but they are just the middle man, not the owner. well theres no family anywhere near hear, but mates might be more inclined to cover over, even if for work if there was somewhere to crash, has been mentioned before. just a better place/way to live, not doing it for anyone else. and yeah, work is what u make of it, prob familiar faces around, might get occasional laugh etc, good camp good food but
