Re: Sleeping too much
Hi @Faith-and-Hope
Keep pakcing - I find any kind of packing except packing my dirty clothes to come home hard work
We are all here to help - so if you find letting off steam helps - then we don't think of it as whinging - we understand - let the pressure off here where it's safe
I can tell it's control issues - this must be hard to live with -
Hugs

@Faith-and-Hope and @Former-Member
I have found it hard to be "Christmassy" for years now - sometimes I lift my little tree out of the bag it lives in and put it with the decorations already on it in a safe place and tie ornaments on the outside of the door etc - and get presents for all my descendents - bios, steps and in-laws - and haven't had Christmas Dinner with anybody for so many years I have forgotten when it was
So I do believe in the reason for the season but I am wondering if I have to have the same convo with dd as I have had other years - that I see her for a short while - with sil and gd - on Christmas Day - and it always feel dreadful that we have this convo and I which I could say that if she doesn't have an hour give or take on Christmas Day then forget it
I wrote it somewhere - if I had not incovenienced myself many years ago she would not be inconvenienced now - but I have learned the path of non-argument a long time ago - but insist on Christmas Day
This year I hope this will not come up - but I am thinking about going away again - this year be absent on Christmas Day and enjoy what a hotel can provide in the way of Christmas Celebrations - I might be too late but let's say seeing I have left it late this year - I will see what happens - and find a different way - whatever that is.
Christmas Eve is the only time I see my great grandchildren - that's important - their fathers are not my biological grandchildren - and I don't know why TS has to be such a control freak and I think dd's distance comes from some lie in the past -
I think I have an appointment with my therapist tomorrow - I can't speak of the ill of the dead because they can't defend themselves but TS is something else and as I don't know when she lies or what they are about - there is nothing I can do about it - it's strange how I have never been asked about what she says
Something will happen though - all these things come to pass

I noticed your messages, thankyou. Sorry, but I've been too tired to reply. Having a nap now. Chat another time. Just wanted to say, hi. 😊

She wants to do more pathology & gastroscopy (one year wait in public system) & more pathology. Thinks I'm ble_ding from somewhere for these drops in 6months. Hopefully not the big 'C' word. Trying not to worry but helps understand why I'm so tired (lazy), puffed, feel unwell...
Bit peeved because I asked for Gastroscopy last year because of swallowing esophageal pain, but she just put me on antacids & said its likely anxiety with me. Hmm. Not fair. Time will tell - be nice to feel well physically at least. Doesn't help that I hate red meat lol
Anyone e else had similar problems?

Re: Sleeping too much
I'm trying to think what other foods are high in iron that you can add as part of your daily meal. All I can remember is maybe spinach and ... nope I've forgotten. It's another leafy green. AA

Re: Sleeping too much
Hemorrhaging in pregnancy didn't help!
It could be tummy ulcer?
Or in my case celiac causes malabsorption issues for me. Good she's looking more into it all.
So hard when iron is low, it affects emotions deeply. Gosh I so feel for you I.e. in light of grief etc. I read your thread today. As I rest so much came to me. I've been grieving more than I knew.
I think past violence affected me greatly. Grief doesn't go away ever. Just gets lighter then robs you like the plague out of nowhere.
You take it easy on you.
I feel words cannot equate, but yes I really do understand. 😘
