Re: Sleeping too much

Ah well I had much bigger babies! Yes the head hurts every time, and the body no problem..snatch n grab in my case x 3. My second was very long, but not a problem. Weight on 3rd maybe wore me out, but I had two other's, iron troubles, chest infection, so all in all! Lol..yep still do. Not much use though. Have done the teething necklace x 3! Often ribbed for it, but I don't care!! Past that one ha,ha @TAB

Re: Sleeping too much

Hmm you know @Former-Member I'd say ponder the statesman. It will come to you. Let the feeling digest. This is what I do on dreams when unsure on elements.
For one thing vehicles represent our own body, we are the drivers. The fact your father owned this car whilst your son was young (again a male) to me reflect s your vulnerability as a young mum with son. Your father possibly has significance here?
Just my tea leaf reading thoughts..the answer will reveal to you, as you are ready to know.😊
Totally..how good is it, that when power has been stripped away, it can't be taken from subconscious thought in dream.
Too true! 😊❤🙌

Re: Sleeping too much

@Former-Member, thanks for your heart felt replies last night. Sorry i lost it a while. But you understand. Hope it didn't exacerbate your struggle atm. I'm tired today (the day after - you know it well I'm sure), but the universe gave me a gift in the form of a dream, that gave me a GOOD feeling of joy, and hope I'm trying to hang onto.

I was glad to read you saying yesterday "I'm finally starting to feel human again" We bounce back & fwd but hopefully create little moments where we feel joy every day. Somehow.

I'm.Still working on a quiet garden spot to sit out back, just me & happy thoughts. And an inside space too. Found a great little round white cane chair for this purpose. Why do we put these things off? lol Might get those led solar fairy lights for my bedroom, make it nice, be kind to mW practically, have you tried that?

Teej, i didn't feel minimise by your posts last night, not at all. I understand where you're coming from more these days (don't worry so much). It was really nice that you said you 'just wanted to be here with me' that you 'know how i feel' - needed that thank you - sorry it made your 'heart sink and your chest go tight' (hopefully not for long?).

Teej, you have great EMPATHY & COMPASSION.- two rare and wonderful qualities of character these days, thank you for this Teej, for being you, I mean that, even your hard days, they makes me feel useful, trying to help. Doesn't mean your good qualities are lost then, just hiding from the storms, survival being priority in those times.

Also, thanks for reminding me that last nights phone call from my son does not define my worth. Guess i still place too much of my value in the opinions of others, and performance - really must work more on that one. Need reminding.

Though its hard to see at the time, last night, being left out by loved ones, again, is temporary, "a glitch" 'a hiccup' 'a storm in a teacup' and I think I handled better than usual - probably 'cause I could offload here with such helpful replies like yours.@faith-and-hope, etc, good support in the moment makes so much difference..Actually, I think talking (chat), in the moment, helped me connect with my own anger, my suppressed internal rage, and it didn't mess things up too much. Just a food b'nge... As for "what it is I'm 'still here for" - still need to solidify that one - but, maybe we don't have to always know the 'why's and wherefores' to move fwd.

Are you OK today yourself Teej? Haven't read all the posts yet but picked up your struggling. Hang in there. I look for you every time I'm on you know. xox
💜💐

Re: Sleeping too much

Lol...I'm amazed really much bigger women have small babies, then smaller frame women having big bopper's...no logic to the whole shebang..I seriously don't know how I fit those cherubs in...not much room for food in the end..my organs were squashed!! @TAB..first child you don't notice, third child I got laughed at because it was all tummy! And people would say if you looked at me from back wouldn't know I was pregnant! Put me side on...hello! Lol...it was women who were nasty. Men were always kind. Bloody b*****..needless to say wiped a few people off my list! I needed support not nasty projection. Anyway past tense..I grew as a result each time.

Re: Sleeping too much

Yeh..guess it taught me loads about myself. It took my mind to last night, a comment I kept hearing from family members. ...I'm kind of thinking hey dudes whatever's! But I'm probably tipping tiredness..tried rest, then little man woke. Doh. I was asked if I'd have another last night. Sometimes I feel I've given so much...it takes a big toll on my health each time, for this, unsure but yes I know I could do it. My reply is I don't know!! Lol..I don't think I'm superwoman! But it's always nice to hear. Thank you. 😊 @TAB

Re: Sleeping too much

Yes @Former-Member, I'm ok thank you, bounced back pretty quick this time, just tired. Realise how lucky I am to not have the abuse living with me. lol
How are you & yours today Bridget?
Sunday morning is my time with God bit I don't always attend church as such. Much to the disgust of my VC & self righteous people - a 1-2hr gathering is a fraction of the purpose of the kingdom of God on earth. Hope I don't deceive myself...
Yes my sleep was broken but had a regenerating dream that helped & been up since 8.30.

Hi @Decadian, sorry about the tech hitch, we get so dependent on our gadgets. Think maybe everyone's right about 'family' not being family are actually not family at all. Even Jesus spoke of this. So, its hard to break old habits, false perceptions & wishful dreams.
As for Christmas, I think the only way for me to cope is to boycott it as a pagan ritual hijacked by a greedy capitalists all over the world. However I am a great believer in the coming of the Messiah, the Christ - few celebrate the true meaning of Christmas (even my church growing TS who ignored me the last 3 Christmases). The world is do mixed up. Or maybe I'm just too much of an idealist, a dreamer.
Was thinking of you a lot lately when the neighbours very cute ginger cat plays in my yard. She use to be so shy but now she just stands her ground when she & my dog have a stand off. Funny to watch actually. Dogs starting to accept her as part of the furniture (not inside re my allergies) unless of cause she goes near his food bowl. Love watching her chase butterflies & little garden lizards. Pretty cute. She loves sitting in the shade of my mulberry tree. Think she comes over to get away from her crazy step brother cockadpanial silky cross - cute but annoying pup. How's your kitty going?
How are you in yourself Decadian?

Re: Sleeping too much

Good to hear that you are ok today @Former-Member

Ignore the self righteous people. It's between you and God what you do in life, no one else.

I had someone have a go at me years ago for not going to church every week. She said, "no wonder your life isn't working out, you don't even go to church". Oh my gosh! Not long before this, I was going to church twice on Sunday, midweek Bible study and a group on Friday nights and working full time and trying to help my family with baby sitting, cleaning etc. I almost had a breakdown and this person said this. Wow! (we were actually close friends), no longer though. This is the sort of people I used to know and thought they were friends. I'd rather go without.

I haven't been going to church for a long time. I can only go, if I know that I can face these sort of people. I know that not all church going people are like that, but alot of them are. They have no understanding of depression, anxiety etc. Oh, wouldn't it be nice to just "snap" out of it and be healed. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. We all have gone through life differently and we all react differently to situations in life and not everyone is able to overcome easily, some are, lucky them. Anyway, rant over.

I was in shock when she said this at the time, but the next day I was prepared and said exactly what I wanted to say to her. I felt great. It was one of my first successful confrontations in life. One of my questions to her was, who do you think you are? Do you think that you are better than me, just because you go to church on Sundays. And I told her exactly how I felt, that it felt like she had stabbed me etc. Anyway, I felt quite good after that, lol, she was silent and shocked. I won't put up with that sort of rubbish anymore. Whoops! I better get out and wash hubby's car before dark.
