Evangelia ..... Evangeliki ..... Angeliki ..... Evangelos (male) ..... Vangelis (male) .... Angela ..... Angelo .... they alter the name a bit cos they name after living family members so you can end up with 5 or 6 Evangelias in the same family group .... makes life interesting .....

..think his national service lasted nearly 6 years ie beatings from officers, getting put in prison, so didnt count as 'time served' he wised up eventually when realised his call up could last for ever.. he was a Navy diver ..a hard man .. just kind and so funny seemed ..he found out where I lived well pre mobile phones and came and found me to offer me work.. when it was only him and me, had worked for 3 or 4 brickies before, remember him doing 120 bricks under eaves on a brick veneer house in an hour at end of one day ..poor bugger .. he Was 'The King' as he used to say with his 'brixos' though ..well I used to 'join up' ie do the jointing between bricks ..but .. well didn't really work re money, he was just so generous tho @Faith-and-Hope and he was better than faultless too, looked like a machine had laid them ..should go and find him..say hello

¶Not sure about the "nose to nose with V8 statesman" being mums aggression, face on. The car was identical to a statesman my dad owned 26yrs ago when my son was a baby. Do you think that means anything. I could only see the front & bonnet, not the driver.
¶I like the 'self protection' purpose of white lie, waving the flag (broken down) to divert her energy away. That would do it for her. Someone/thing else to blame.
¶The 4 men (?x6):/
Fatherly figure types? softer, not hardened, helping you.
Not sure about that, my dad had a bad temper, beat me to a pulp when I was 17 after a Fri night at the pub. He gave up the grog and mellowed a lot, but was always my shining knight 'till that day, and strangely after - in my denial, but he certainly had more depth and logic than mother dear.
¶I'm still pondering your view of "feminine, masculine aspects of self" in the dream. 'Adonis' man (had to look that one up lol - "Aphrodite's male lover" - blushing), but like it, that my ability to see - "yes I am capable of intimacy with another (if given a chance), and I've loads to share - when I allow my negative ties to family & self image to no longer hold me... And I am willing to be vulnerable, in order to transcend!"

Interesting take on my dream - the statesman V8 meaning Power & Money, as does big strong men lifting my car. Do you think I need more 'power' or just symbols of power? And, hmm, the WM actually being the 4 strong, practical guys (backup/confirmation to part-A of the dream), connection,
someone to rely on.
Its true, even though its just a dream, that the FEELING was or is real, and yes,
- I 'HAVE' IT NOW' -
My timely gift from the universe, something nobody can take away.
Maybe I can also 'repeat' dreams like this, like you do. Good flashbacks!!!! Do like that idea. Thank you Tab xox

Ahh nice memories for sure @Former-Member....I know they come bitter sweet. So hard to go back. I think I'd find that difficult once, not anymore. But I always have an eerie feeling when going out that way, which isn't a lot. But my mum lives out that way. I usually go the back way around to avoid even the highway old road bears off! I had terrible anxiety for an incredibly long time, when my two eldest were young. I really suffered badly then. I think my new partner has helped me a lot in this respect. Sort of protection I guess. We moved along way over 3 hours. It helps me massively cutting ties. Wow, yes it's terribly challenging and digging deep on that one is hard, but it will pass as being lighter one day. I never thought I'd be saying those words myself.
