Re: Sleeping too much
Proud of myself, planted another 2m out front, expanded around the rock garden with ground cover white puff things, petunias & baby carnations. Should come up nice. Digging hurts the muscles bad & needed to rest twice (like a chronic fatigue thing, weird), but kept going & pulled it off. Built tbis oval rock garden as a triblut to my girl. A purple theme - her fav colour. Rosemary, dasies, yesterday-today-tomorrow, The petuna are a rich velvet purple & deep red for contrast. The rocks make it nice. Think shed like it.
Disturbed a nest of big black ants which was unnerving - at least an inch long with strong looking nippers - wouldn't want to get bitten by one of those, but they were surprisingly non aggressive so let them be. A butterfly flew by my face - I often say to my girl "is that you?" when a butterfly comes close. One day a huge butterfly came close, sat on my index finger and turned head looked up at my face, not once but twice - that was a spiritual experience, wow. Nature is healing.
Just frying up some Zuccini, carrot & chicken stir fry thing. Love fried z & think it might be healthy.

Re: Sleeping too much
I try not to give too much info on here in case someone guesses who I am. So I understand what you mean. There are alot of people in Australia, luckily it's unlikely.
I went for a walk at the beach. Why is it so hard to find motivation, grrrr! Wish it was easier. Not to worry, I did it.
Lazy dinner, egg and bacon on toast. Still hungry.
Sorry I haven't been on this post much lately. I've been feeling terrible and didn't want to sound depressing. But, I need to remember that we are here for each other. 😊👍💜💜💜🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼

Got them via email @Former-Member .....
I know it's a different sort of delusional, but as with my WH you can only really walk along with him, which is exactly what your reply is doing.
Yes .... it's sad .... but you can't actually enter their world and "save" them .... all you can do is provide compassion and understanding that that is their mindset .... and you have.
Well done you ... ❣
Hugs @Former-Member .....
Being a woman of faith, you can also pray .... and prayer can be in action or visual form .... light a candle for him .... plant plants in your garden for all your family, and care for the plants in the way you would like to be caring for them in person.
You're a treasure for us here ❤️

Re: Sleeping too much
Do you ever have days where the weather takes you back to a long ago experience? The smell of my toast with this overcast windy day & a mower in the background, the smell of the toast took me back to the excitement I felt in the huge dinning room of a children's home I stayed at when I was 5yo (one of mums operations). All the company but think it was the structure in the day i liked the most - always something wonderful & exciting to do.
You having a quiet one today?

Hi @Former-Member
I sincerely appreciate your comments on my wisdom - and I do hope it helps
Getting wisdom is hard - it comes from doing the wrong thing and learning - and for a time in our lives we have to live among people who have no appreciation for people like ourselves who are different
So there have been times when I have endure the form of a situation to have the content - try to suffer fools and know-it-alls and yes - I think I am a know-it-all myself - but in later years I have accepted that I do not have to keep what I have worked hard at learning to myself either
Now - like you - I live alone - and I can please myself what I do and when - and spent nearly a fortnight feeling exhausted with sinusitis ane thought carefully - what could be an improvement on this situation and what could be worse
And I like it better to battle through something like that on my own - even though my home was chaotically untidy and I hardly ate
It does seem unreasonable to me that you are supposed to be in charge of your brother with MI - you are not even handy - and I can guess pretty well that your brother is really afraid -
But what to do? Ah - there are times when we can but in with our thoughts and other times it's something only the family can comment upon. Which is this? It is difficult - and I know your family is complex too
Lots of hugs @Former-Member - we have had a long weekend in Melbourne - for someone obscure reason we have a public holiday on Friday so that people can go to the Grand Final Parade - I can't think of a worse reason for a holiday -
So let's hope there is more activity in the forum now a new week has begun
