Re: Sleeping too much

Thanks @Former-Member...funnily enough tonight, as the 'feeling' has been past couple of days...I still feel like the girl that's running!
I'm not sure why.
Weird how body,feeling etc works.
Best get my butt into shop, or else partner wondering why I'm taking forever! 😉 lol
But that's when I think of dad. To wink or just give me that look...'it's ok!'
@Shaz51, @utopia ❤💛

Re: Sleeping too much

@Shaz51, I think "mentally Blarr" probably means - too tired to think, foggy or wacked.

@utopia, I don't think my 14yo son would appreciate a 'chick flick' There's probably some good kids shows on a he hr moment.
Have a good night, all of you.

Re: Sleeping too much

@Former-Member. No he doesn't want to see the movie. I'll just go on my own and have a bellylaugh. Best frfriend was coming with me but her ex changed his visitation night - so she can't come.
Anyway I'm sure to enjoy it

Re: Sleeping too much

Oh bugger that your friend couldn't go with you @utopia. Bit far for me to drive otherwise I'd come with you. Hopefully this will change your day around and put a smile on your dial. Enjoy💜😊

Re: Sleeping too much

@Shaz51 you have been so positive and loyal for your hubby ... I hope he appreciates you. Brain fog and mentally blah ... are a big part of my day but I can switch on and focus for short periods and keep doing music to keep that going ... others do crosswords .. or play on apps ...

I try to keep meds at minimum.

I also do a lot of staring into space ... then I do yoga exercises with my eyes and shifting focus .. I've had bung eyes since being a kid.

You dont need to be told to try and drink in the good moments ... @Shaz51 .. I know you do that anyway .. see if he can find a small activity that uses his mind that he likes .. even if only 5 mins per day... Looking at art or pictures ... and talking about it together ...

Hi @Decadian glad you are a bit better ... superstitions are interesting ... even sciencey me ... freaked out that God didnt want me to leave my marriage and sent a bird to poop on my car windscreen at the moment of my bad thought ... to give me a stern hint ...

yet it is human to read "meaning" into events. 10 years later, I did get the courage to leave and dont regret it ... and still have my conversations with him up above .. but not Him who must be obeyed ...

I think we were given brains for a reason ... blind obedience often leads to trouble.

@Former-Member and @utopia I have been there with mothering sons and trying to preserve their relationships with their fathers ...

anger in those circumstances is natural ... go for the most self respect and balance you can find ...

Hi @Former-Member I cant send photos but I'd love to see yours .. no not boring .. just good old fashioned friendly sharing ... @Former-Member is right .. you are inspiring

Will he go back to see the doc -- no he won`t @Kurra

Thank you @Appleblossom

seems to be very tired in the mornings and then we work for the morning , and he says by lunchtime he has had enough

He seems to be only able to focus for short periods at a time , so i have been saying yes to jobs that are not too long

Re: Sleeping too much

Thanks @Appleblossom, spits & spurts with the reno really. Actually quite fragile atm.

Had 2 friends call today but all they talked about was their huge families keeping them on the hop & work Hassel's. I know I should be glad they rang, and glad they're busy & happy etc, but not.

The last caller just rang to say they cant pick me up for church tomorrow because they're gonna take the bike & go for a ride after, but doesn't know where yet, she lectured me about taking down the fibro myself (?aspestos), and how I need to 'GO OUT MORE!' - join groups etc as a solution to missing my family. (She knows i joined 2 new groups & church). She then went on & on about family parties and all the things shes been up to in her holidays. I don't know, my brain snapped or something - can't believe i said it out loud: "I may as well be ded in comparison!!!" i said. "have to go this conversation is depressing me" She paused and said ok then "i'll let you go" & we hung up.

Don't know what came over me, I'm normally so much more patient & polite. who I am?. Hope I'm not turning old & bitter. Just... I don't know, lol.

My bro B4 kinda apologised via tx today, for being so horrible last week. But he then went on about the other brother B3 upset about his new Mental Health worker & wanting me to help somehow. I'm thinking B3 can ring me himself, ir emailblikw he does sometimes, he knows my number. Just tired of a he unnecessary drama i think.

@Decadian, do ya get to a point where ya just shrink inside yaself and watch everyone implode around you? Anyway, better stop thinking, do some mindfulness & grab a Tai Chai. All good 😕
