You know what @Former-Member? What you said to that church woman maybe the best possible thing you could have said. She showed no concern for you as a human being let alone a member of the same church. That's not Christianity.

I was so polite and terrified of being rude ... but in my choir the cantor told me not to worry about it as she works at a nice girls school ... and the teachers spit the dummy all the time ...
The problem was that I had been mostly been talking about social justice for years there .. and they had all been talking about social aggandisement things ... and cutting me out of conversations
Anyway I did spit the dummy a few times ... and actually told them they were lucky they hadnt found my hanging ... I had stuggled with it so much while they boasted about overseas travel and high end real estate.
.. if the aim is to feel better and be authentic .... good on you ... I had the same thing every Christmas .. as they complained about cooking for crowds etc .. I will sing Midnight mass ... 2 Christmases ago ... a lady told me off made jealous comment about my voice .. the night before mum died .. it goes on ... and she "thinks" she is a VERY NICE person ... but to me christianity is nothing without compassion and social justice ... the homeless people who congregate outside my church enjoyed my Lindt choc balls ... they deserve Quality too.
maybe I am slowly becoming stubborn ... oh oh .... thats @Kurra rubbing off on me
Its just everybody is struggling at the edge of their coping abilities ... and they are probably talking out loud to prop up themselves .. more than talking to you ... I talk about therapuetic concepts in choir ... and the difficulty of presumptions ... they need to know going on about family can really hurt those who have fractured families.

We ended up driving to the city to shop. Bought 2 lovely dresses and a lovely jacket (coat). Stayed in the city this evening, fireworks etc., great buskers there as well, guy who was on the voice, plus others. Bug day, but a good one. 😀

Hi Bridget, you're in good form, and finally BOUGHT something at the shops. Glad you had a big day. I've had a quiet quiet day, kind a paralysed really, no good reason.
