No 'exchange' necessary but you can if you wish @Former-Member ..the dumb way I get stuff from ph to 'puter is by emailing it to myself lol. Works. Quicker than bluetooth or just use a cable. email easy

Re: Sleeping too much

Maybe later, gotta be in the right frame of mind to tackle technology. But thanks for saying. My son has an IT degree and tells me to figure it out for myself like he has to. How rude is that! Oh, in rareness he has helped me on with it on several occasions but I'm loathed to ask. Rather do dishes and that's really saying something.

What are you up to today @TAB?

Re: Sleeping too much

yeah, brother has worked for years on Helpdesk, helped out a couple of times years ago, last time was underwhelmed. He doesn't anymore, and same re mood for technology, I prefer a book or pamphlet to read instead of trial by error. Some things just do not work have found the hard way. Small wins though.

Very little. tooth really bad face, mouth hurts, not localised anymore. Showered, dressed. May not even try to sort gas out for cooking today dunno lol @Former-Member

Re: Sleeping too much

@TAB, Do u have any tinned food for when cooking a problem? When they're on special I stock up on tinned food - esp. baked beans, fish, soups etc There's some yummy meals in tins - just have yo watch sodium leveld. At least I hope you have electricity for toaster, microwave & kettle - i simply wouldn't cope well without a hot cup of tea. Are you still travelling?

Re: Sleeping too much

er, no, with travel in immediate future, told someone on Friday will do couple days work think in a bit over a week, that tends to lead to more, then possibly re travels @Former-Member nothing tying me anywhere except inaction etc and getting itchy feet so see what happens

I wonder what WH is actually referring to when he says he's going a bit wobbly again? Is it possible that some level of recognition is emerging. Just a thought.

Hi @Kurra

I know you posted this one a while ago now ....

WH didn't say he was going a bit wobbly again .... it's more that we can recognise the signs ... even on the phone from over east he starting to "lose it" quickly when there was any interference to his expectations .... got shouted down on the phone a couple of times just trying to finish the word I was speaking, cos he had said my name and expected me to stop speaking mid-word .... ??!! :face_with_rolling_eyes:

There are expectations and behaviours happening that don't make sense .... but it's like trying to argue with someone who is blind drunk .... you're not gonna get through ..... so you've got to make a decision in the moment about how important it is to have right of way ... if there is no safety issue involved, then I give him right of way .... I don't allow it to escalate if I can help it ....

To do this I had to disengage emotionally. I don't take offence (most of the time) because he is so clearly outside his previous codes of behaviour it's like dealing with someone else's difficult toddler in those moments.

I just take the warning that he is in his most highly strung state when things like this are happening ....

Recently though he has appeared to be trying very hard to keep himself stable. We have encountered some surprising moments where we expected him to not be coping, and starting to snarl and lash out .... and he hasn't ....

This is interesting. I am not really sure what to look for in terms of him moving from the denial stage - "Pre-contemplation Stage" - into what's called "Contemplation Stage" ....

Re: Sleeping too much

Sounds as if I should apply a little more concentration to what I'm reading. My bad!

I understand your situation more than you might realise. Hubby and I have a part time relationship largely because of his mi issue than mine. So I go to see him or vice versa and in between we both have the freedom to just be us. It has worked well because it allows us to come and go without having to create or provide any reason. And yes, I do make a lot of allowance for his needs when we are together. We also speak on the phone every night. It becomes quite easy to discern ho well he is mi wise but that is his responsibility. I don't interfere. Obviously I would do so in a critical situation.

Make sure you take care of you eh? 🎶💕💜💕🎶
